Period 5 Reading for writing
教学简析:
本课时为本单元第五课时。教学内容以演讲稿的形式讲述了音乐给自己带来改变的故事,并号召大家利用音乐积极进行自我影响。教学目标是以演讲稿为载体,训练学生的阅读和学习演讲稿写作的能力,同时掌握几种常用的比喻、拟人等修辞手法。本节课充分利用多媒体,通过图片、音乐和文字的呈现,探讨和切身感受音乐和我们可能的关系及音乐对我的情感的直观影响。通过4个问题的处理,训练学生阅读能力的同时增进对文章的理解。由改变作者的歌曲Happy,帮助学生感受该歌曲的力量,理解歌曲改变作者的原因,并巧妙地以歌词第一句的比喻句转入对文中出现的各种修辞进行理解、学习和运用,并进一步探讨各种修辞的功能。通过文章结构的划分了解演讲稿的结构组成,并引导学生从体裁、时态、人称和作文主旨等方面进行写前的构思。最终训练了阅读能力,掌握了演讲稿的结构,修辞的渲染以及写前的构思,也提升了学生积极利用音乐给自己力量的意识。
学情分析:
在生活中,高一的学生青春时尚,喜欢把听歌、唱歌当做娱乐和爱好,课文的故事会让学生们意识到音乐可以给人传递的正能量,有利于学生提高通过积极的音乐进行自我影响的意识。在英语写作上,演讲稿是常见文体,学生需要充分了解其结构,提高用修辞手法对演讲稿进行渲染的意识以及写前充分构思的意识和能力。
Teaching aims:
At the end of this period, students will be able to:
Train the abilities of reading and writing.
Master the structure of a speech and ways to think before writing.
Learn and use several useful rhetorical devices, such as simile, metaphor, personification and so on.
Fully sense the great influence of positive and powerful music and improve the awareness of making use of music to affect themselves .

Learn how to write a good speech using proper structure and rhetorical devices.
Improve reading abilities further.
Form a good habit of fully thinking before writing.
