1 What is a friend
Learning objectives
In this lesson, we will be able to:
Understand the concept of friendship through discussions and listening activities.
Improve listening skills by having them listen to the conversation multiple times and fill in the blanks to extract key information about friendship.
Work in groups to complete a mind map about friends, promoting cooperation and communication skills. At the same time, develop students' creative thinking and language expression abilities.

She is like a sister to me and is a second self. We share everything.

help me out 表示 “帮我摆脱困境;帮我一把” 。

help sb. out 是固定用法,sb.是被帮助的对象,可以用人称代词宾格或名词来表示。
例句:
When I was in trouble, my friend helped me out.
(当我遇到麻烦时,我的朋友帮了我一把。)
He always helps his classmates out with their studies.
(他总是在学习上帮助他的同学们。)
Can you help me out I don't know how to solve this problem.
