Adverbial clauses of concession with although and though
We can use although or though to form an adverbial clause of concession.
We can also put the adverbial clause of concession after the main clause.

让步状语从句
由although引导的让步状语从句表示 “尽管……，（但是）……”。
一般情况下，可以和though引导的让步状语从句互换使用，但在口语中though更为常用。
让步状语从句可以置于主句之前，也可以置于主句之后。
He went on fighting, though/ although he was wounded. = Although/ Though he was wounded, he went on fighting.
I can look after myself, although/ though it won’t be easy for me.
= Although/ Though it won’t be easy for me, I can look after myself.
注意：汉语中“虽然/尽管”与“但是”往往同时使用，但在英语中although/ though和but是不能同时使 用的。
I don’t often make dinner, but I can cook.
=Although I don’t often make dinner, I can cook.
