Step 3 While-reading 1. Let Ss read three students’ accounts of their ways to keep fit. Fill in the blanks with use an exercise app, skateboarding, or play baseball.2. Ask Ss to read the accounts again and complete the table in lc.3. Let read Xia Tian's account and answer the question:What does Xia Tian think of skateboarding 4. Make Ss red Jenny’s account and answer the questions:a.What does Jenny do to keep fit b.How does the app help Jenny 5. Lead Ss to read the passage again and choose the T or F. Read the passage quickly and carefully and finish the reading tasks.
Step 4 Post-reading 1. Let Ss choose one activity in lb they would like to try and give reasons.2. Help Ss analyze how Xia Tian introduces her way to keep fit.3.Let Ss read Kate's post and complete the mind-map in 2a.4. Ask Ss to make a similar mind map about their favorite sport or exercise.5.
