Unit 3 Care for the Earth 第一课时(教学设计)
教学目标
1. 能听、说、读、写词汇:pick flowers, cut down trees, make the air dirty, waste water, drive a car, care for the earth。
2. 能灵活运用上述词汇。
教学重难点
1.掌握并熟练运用本节课的重点短语:pick flowers, cut down trees等。
2.理解并运用好单词中的元音字母读音都符合“元音+辅音+不发音的字母e”结构,元音字母都读字母本身音。
教学准备
(1)一束花、一双一次性筷子、一个垃圾袋及一些垃圾的图片。
(2)Let’s learn部分的教学卡片。
(3)Let’s learn部分的录音磁带、录音机。
教学方法
Ⅰ. 课程导入(Leading In)
ⅰ. 课前问答
T: Hello, boys and girls. Do you like traveling
Ss: Yes.
T: Well. I like going to the mountain. Because the air is fresh and the flowers are beautiful. What about you
S1: I like going to the river. I can swim there.
S2: I like going to the forest. I can draw pictures there.
T: But sometimes we can see a lot of litter there(我们向学生出示所准备的一些垃圾的图片). I feel sad about that. Can we do that
Ss: No.
T: You are right! We can’t do that. We can throw the litter into the trash can. We should do something good.
ⅱ. 新课导入 Part A Warming-up: Read and think
1. 我们引导学生观察图片并讨论。
T: Look at the pictures. Are the little bird and the fish happy Why What happened Can you read and find the reason
2. 让学生读对话,找到答案并进行讨论。我们可引导学生说:
Ss: The bird is sad because it lost its home and the fish is sad because the water is dirty. Our home is becoming worse and worse, so we should care for our earth.
T: What should we do Today, we will learn some activities and you can see they are right or wrong.
Ⅱ. 课程展示活动和过程的设计 (Presentation)
ⅰ. 新课展示Part A Let’s learn
1. 学习短语pick flowers
我们出示所准备的一束花并与学生进行对话:
T: Look. What are these
Ss: They are flowers.
T: What color are they
Ss: They are ...
T: In which seasons can we see many flowers
Ss: Spring and summer.
T: Well. We can see many beautiful flowers in the garden. I want to pick some flowers and take them home. Can I do that
Ss: No.
T: No. We can’t pick flowers.
我们板书并领读短语pick flowers,注意纠正学生的错误读音。
2. 学习短语cut down trees
我们出示一次性筷子并与学生进行对话:
T: Look at these chopsticks. What can we do with them
Ss: We can eat with them.
T: Well. People often use them in our daily life, but where are they from
Ss: They are from trees.
T: Yes. Trees are cut down to make chopsticks. Usually, we use them only once. Every year, people cut down many trees. Do you think it is right
Ss: No.
T: So we can’t cut down too many trees.
我们板书并领读短语cut down trees,学生边做动作边说短语。
3. 学习短语drive a car
我们假装摘花,问学生:What am I doing Can I pick flowers 然后问学生:Can we cut down many trees 我们再做开车的样子,通过问答,用不同的句式反复介绍短语:
T: What am I doing, can you guess
I’m driving. I’m driving a car. I can drive a car.
可连续和几个学生进行问答活动:
T: Can you drive a car, S1
Can you show us how to drive a car
我们板书并领读短语drive a car,要求学生边说短语边做动作。
4. 我们借助图片教授make the air dirty, waste water,然后请学生分组读短语,我们可以引导学生发现drive, make, waste三个词中的元音字母读音都符合“元音+辅音+不发音的字母e”结构,元音字母都读字母本身音。
5. 通过图片引导学生认读词汇the earth。
6. 我们播放Let’s learn部分的录音,让学生模仿其语音语调跟读词汇。
ⅱ. 巩固活动
我们再次播放Let’s learn部分的录音,可注意在每个短语之后停顿几秒,让学生听音拼写词汇。
Ⅲ. 操练活动的设计与实施 (Practice Activities)
ⅰ. 看图抢读
1. 我们先将学生分成若干组,然后出示所准备的短语卡片,让学生看图快速抢读出相应的短语。
2. 我们也可以请每组派出一个代表出示卡片,其他成员抢读短语。
ⅱ. 句型转换:对不文明行为说“不”
我们说出一个本单元的短语,学生听后判断认为是不文明行为,说:Please don’t ... 根据学生掌握情况,可添加一些类似于play sports, eat healthy food等短语,学生若认为是文明行为,就说:Let’s ...
T: Waste water.
Ss: Please don’t waste water.
T: Make the air dirty.
Ss: Please don’t make the air dirty.
T: Play sports.
Ss: Let’s play sports.
