I’d wanted to chicken out once we reached the airport, but when I heard a woman celebrating her fiftieth wedding anniversary decided to skydive, I thought that I had the courage to do it, too.
The wind blew louder as we went up further, each second feeling like an eternity（永生）. My heart pounded in my chest quickly. Below me, the world seemed so distant, a patchwork of green fields and shining water. As I watched my children disappear into the vastness, a part of me wanted to scream, to pull them back into the safety of the aircraft.
