Unit 4　Exploring poetry
1．One reason to write a poem(动词不定式短语作后置定语，修饰名词reason) is to dig(vt.发掘) from yourself some thought，feeling，comprehension or question that was in you，or in the world.
动词不定式作定语用来修饰的词一般是抽象名词，常见的还有chance，ambition，offer，anxiety，attempt，belief等。
2．You can’t write an image，a metaphor，a story，a phrase without(双重否定表肯定) approaching the shared world，without recognizing that your supposed solitude is at every point touching some others.
双重否定句式，表示肯定意义。,Not a student has access to the library without showing his student card.
3．That the rearrangement(re-[前缀]重新；再一次) of words can reopen the potential of both inner and outer worlds(内心和外部的世界)—I cannot say why I feel this to be true，except(除了……；只有……) that I feel it so when I read good poems.
