I'm honored to be here to share with you a festival that is close to my heart——the Spring Festival.
Celebrated in January or February, the Spring Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. Before its arrival, people often clean their homes to sweep away bad luck from the past year. During the festival, people usually have a big reunion dinner, which is also called New Year's Eve dinner. The Significance of Spring Festival Being Included in the World Heritage List
Great news! Spring Festival has been successfully inscribed on the World Heritage List. This festival, which is the most important traditional festival in China, holds profound significance.

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural organization (UNESCO) added "Spring Festival, social practices of the Chinese people in celebration of the traditional New Year" to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity at the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage held on December 4, 2024. China now has 44 items on the intangible cultural heritage list of the UNESCO, continuing to be the most enlisted country in the world.
