比如原文提到 “Researchers have found that regular exercise can improve cardiovascular function.”,选项可能会表述为 “Regular physical activity is beneficial to the cardiovascular system”,虽然用词不同,但意思完全一致。
如果新闻报道主要讲述了某地区通过发展特色农业实现了经济增长,那么正确选项会围绕这一核心内容进行表述,如 “The economic growth of a certain area achieved through the development of characteristic agriculture”。
如果作者在报道中对某项政策持支持态度,并列举了该政策带来的诸多好处,那么正确选项会体现出这种支持态度,如 “The author believes that the policy will bring more benefits to the society”。
如原文是 “Most of the students in the school like sports”,选项可能会改为 “All the students in the school like sports”,通过改变范围来设置干扰。
比如原文提到某产品的销量增长是由于质量提升和营销策略得当两个因素,选项可能只说 “The sales of the product have increased because of its improved quality”,忽略了营销策略这一因素。
例如,原文只是说某个人参加了一个培训课程,选项可能会说 “He will surely become an expert in this field after the training”,这种推断过于绝对和夸张,属于无中生有的过度推断。
如原文说 “The new policy has reduced the pollution in the area”,选项可能会是 “The new policy has led to an increase in pollution in the area”,通过设置与原文相悖的内容来干扰考生。

(2024·湖北·一模)On a clear sunny day on the Georgia coast, ecotour guide Rene Heidt leads her guests on her boat through a narrow waterway. Unbroken grasses reach overhead, and there’s no building, power line, or cell tower in sight. It’s a perfect location for visitors to view a nearby mudflat (泥滩), where roughly300,000 shorebirds, including the roseate spoonbill and the whimbrel, come to eat, rest, and nest every year.
Heidt has had a 15-year career as an ecotour guide and much of what she shares on the tours comes from her experiences. But more recently, the University of Georgia’s Coastal Awareness and Responsible Ecotourism (CARE) certification (认证) program has been designed to support ecotour guides like Heidt, helping improve the information they share with tourists. The program offers up-to-date educational material and training to ecotour guides and provides certification that confirms their devotion to preserving the habitats.
While providing knowledge about Georgia’s natural resources, the CARE program also discusses how to visit some sensitive areas responsibly. Now, when Heidt gives boating tours, she rows with a light touch, moving almost silently across the water. When she shares facts about wildlife with her guests, she doesn’t speak louder than whispers. Actually, it’s a skill Heidt must have perfected in her previous career. “The program changes the way I give tours. It helps me to be more mindful of a boat’s influence on the very thing we are trying to teach people about,” she recalled.
Getting trained through the CARE program also benefits Heidt’s business. According to Heidt, the program allows her to learn more about this environment. And that’s knowledge she passes along to her guests. “It’s a fantastic coast,” she says. “And it’s important to share its beauty with others to help them realize that it is worth protecting.”

(2024·安徽合肥·模拟预测)Global adult diabetes (糖尿病) cases have doubled to more than 800 million during the past three decades, far exceeding (超过) previous estimates, according to new research. A groundbreaking study published in The Lancet this week reveals a healthcare crisis, with more than half of adults over the age of 30 who have diabetes going untreated. Researchers highlighted the need for better diabetes screening and treatment in low-and middle-income countries, which have seen the sharpest rise in cases since 1990.
It noted that four nations accounted for more than half of global diabetes cases, India having the most with 212 million cases, followed by China with 148 million, the US with 42 million, and Pakistan with 36 million. Previous WHO (the World Health Organization) estimates had said the total number of global diabetes cases would be 422 million. Pacific island nations, along with parts of the Caribbean, Middle East, and North Africa, reported the highest diabetes rates globally, exceeding 25 percent of adults. Among wealthy Western nations, the US leads with 12.5 percent, followed by the UK with 8.8 percent.
While the number of diabetes cases has risen sharply, treatment rates in some regions have remained unsatisfactory, the authors noted, even as some higher-income countries have made significant progress.
Senior author Majid Ezzati, a professor at Imperial College London, said, “This is especially concerning as people with diabetes tend to be younger in low-income countries and, in the absence of effective treatment, are at the risk of life-long complications (并发症).” The study provides the first worldwide assessment of diabetes trends, drawing from data of more than 1,000 studies involving more than 140 million adults.
The findings drew a severe warning from WHO Director — General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. “We have seen an alarming rise in diabetes over the past three decades, which reflects the increase in obesity as well as the impacts of the marketing of unhealthy food, a lack of physical activity, and economic hardship,” he said. “To bring the global diabetes epidemic under control, countries must urgently take action. This starts with enacting policies that support healthy diets and physical activity and, most importantly, health systems that provide prevention, early detection, and treatment.”
9.Where may the lowest diabetes rate be found
A.America. B.Britain. C.North Africa. D.The Caribbean.
10.What is Majid Ezzati’s attitude toward the current treatment of diabetes in the low-income countries
A.Worried. B.Optimistic. C.Doubtful. D.Tolerant.
11.What does the underlined word “enacting” in the last paragraph mean
A.Violating. B.Suspecting. C.Abandoning. D.Passing.
12.What can be the best title for the news report
A.Global diabetes cases double in past 30 years
B.Researchers highlight need for better diabetes screening
C.Measures taken to bring global diabetes epidemic under control
D.Higher-income countries make significant progress in treating diabetes

C&D 5
(24-25高三上·新疆乌鲁木齐·阶段练习)A bright and caring 17-year-old teenager from Iowa USA, has invented a revolutionary new type of suture (缝线) that changes color if surgical wounds become infected. This feature can alert doctors and help prevent dangerous infections.
And what’s this high school senior’s secret ingredient The humble beet (甜菜)! Dais Taylor had read about “smart sutures” that use technology to detect the infection of wounds and that can transmit the information to smartphones in real time. But she was on the lookout for a naturally-occurring substance as an alternative to expensive technology, one that could flag infection due to pH changes.
“I found that beets changed color at the perfect pH point,” says Taylor. “Bright red beet juice turns dark purple at a pH of nine. That’s perfect for an infected wound.” Ms. Taylor used the juice of around three dozen beets to dye (染) various suture materials. She found that a thread had the best mix of thickness, absorbency and noticeable darkening of color when exposed to solutions with a higher pH level that indicates infections.
The average pH level of healthy skin is five, but when a wound is infected, the level can go up to about nine, according to a study from the National Library of Medicine. Ms. Taylor was pleased to confirm that beets change color to reflect these pH changes at the very same point as human skin.
Going forward, her goal is to help people in poor areas who are affected by surgical site infections. Ms. Taylor’s wish to help mankind and specifically the disadvantaged, moved her from the start. She wants to patent her new beet-infused sutures so they can eventually be used in healthcare globally. “I consistently classified my project as where equity meet science. When you’re doing research like this, you have to think about the lives you’re going to impact, and you have to make sure the people you’re affecting will be able to have access to it,” she said.
17.What can the new type of suture do
A.Improve wound healing. B.Detect wound infections.
C.Prevent excessive bleeding. D.Reduce surgical pain.
18.How is the new invention different from “smart sutures”
A.It is technology-dependent. B.It can predict pH levels of skin.
C.It is sustainable and cost-effective. D.It consumes less raw materials.
19.Why does the author mention the pH changes of human skin
A.To popularize medical knowledge. B.To clarify how the beets function.
C.To explain health indicators of skin. D.To illustrate how to avoid wound infections.
20.What can we learn about Dasia Taylor from the last paragraph
A.She forms a high patent consciousness. B.She enjoys interacting with people worldwide.
C.She has a strong sense of social responsibility. D.She works to build the global healthcare system.51.【2025年高考英语分类练】阅读理解C&D篇之新闻报道

D.She works to build the global healthcare system.
