一、连词全解析
并列连词
and：表示 “和，并且”，用于连接两个并列的成分，如名词、动词、形容词等。例如：I like apples and bananas.（我喜欢苹果和香蕉。）
or：表示 “或者，否则”。用于连接两个并列的选择项，或者表示 “否则” 的意思。例如：You can choose the red one or the blue one.（你可以选择红色的那个或者蓝色的那个。）；Hurry up, or you'll be late.（快点，否则你会迟到。）
but：表示 “但是”，用于连接两个意思相反或相对的成分。例如：He is young but very clever.（他很年轻但非常聪明。）
both…and…：表示 “两者都”，连接两个并列的成分，作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。例如：Both Tom and Jerry like playing games.（汤姆和杰瑞都喜欢玩游戏。）
either…or…：表示 “要么…… 要么……”，连接两个并列的成分，作主语时，谓语动词遵循就近原则。例如：Either you or he is right.（要么你是对的，要么他是对的。）
neither…nor…：表示 “既不…… 也不……”，连接两个并列的成分，作主语时，谓语动词也遵循就近原则。例如：Neither I nor my sister likes dancing.（我和我妹妹都不喜欢跳舞。）
从属连词
after：表示 “在…… 之后”，引导时间状语从句。例如：After I finish my homework, I will watch TV.（我完成作业后会看电视。）
before：表示 “在…… 之前”，引导时间状语从句。例如：Please wash your hands before you eat.（吃东西前请洗手。）
when：表示 “当…… 时候”，引导时间状语从句，从句中的动词可以是延续性动词也可以是非延续性动词。例如：When I got home, my mother was cooking.（我到家时，妈妈正在做饭。）
while：表示 “当…… 时候”，引导时间状语从句，从句中的动词必须是延续性动词，且常用进行时态。例如：While I was reading, my sister was singing.（我在看书的时候，妹妹在唱歌。）
as soon as：表示 “一…… 就……”，引导时间状语从句。例如：I will tell him the news as soon as I see him.（我一见到他就会告诉他这个消息。）
because：表示 “因为”，引导原因状语从句。例如：I didn't go to school because I was ill.（我没去上学因为我生病了。）
so：表示 “所以”，连接两个句子，表示因果关系。例如：It was raining, so I stayed at home.（天在下雨，所以我待在家里。）
if：表示 “如果”，引导条件状语从句。例如：If it rains tomorrow, we will stay at home.（如果明天下雨，我们就待在家里。）
