Text Analysis
本课是人教版（2019）选择性必修三第一单元Art中的第二篇阅读篇章，该部分的主题为“写一则艺术展览公告”。该部分让学生直接阅读艺术展览推介文，自行撰写艺术展览公告，将课堂所学应用到生活中去。同时也以此鼓励学生参加艺术交流活动，感受艺术的魅力和独特价值。需要注意的是，本节课为Using Language（2）第二课时，即文章基本内容已经在上节课全部完成，本节课学生将在教师引导下，做好文章的语言分析，同时进行写作。
Student Analysis
本课教学对象是高二13班学生。本班学生英语水平不理想，同时上课沉闷，整体课堂参与度不高，但同时学生学习态度良好，上课指令都可以认真完成。一方面，艺术展览这一主题相对贴近生活，在授课过程中教师会提供贴近生活的例子和写作要求，帮助学生提高写作兴趣；另一方面，艺术展览的推介文这一文体对学生来讲较为陌生，因此教师也会为学生提供一些语言和结构上的支持。
Teaching Objectives
By the end of the class, students will be able to： grasp the main ideas of each part and summarize the structure of announcement correctly; observe and summarize the language features and sentence pattern of an art exhibition announcement; write an art announcement according to related information, using what they have learnt today;

1 Tell Ss what they are going to do in this lesson and make a brief review. To make Ss clear the purpose and arrangement of this lesson.
Pre-Writing
2 Check the answers on the learning sheet:divide the 11 sentences into four groups according to their functions group 1:state requirement group 2:describe artworks group 3:comment on artworks group 4:attract visitors To guide Ss to focus on the language functions and features of art exhibition announcement, which can offer them some useful sentence pattern.
3 Make a overall summary about the whole passage. To let Ss clear what aspects should be considered in writing announcement
While-Writing
4 Introduce the writing task: show Ss a video about Qingming Shang He Tu and ask Ss to fill in the blanks notice Ss the requirement of the task structure: para 1 introduce the painting para 2 offer information language:use the phrases and sentence pattern we have learnt today read the poster carefully and make sure all the related information is covered in their announcement. To get Ss familiar with the painting Qingming Shang He Tu, offering some related phrases.
5 Show Ss the checklist Is the announcement clear and to the point？ Is all the necessary information about the exhibition and artworks included？ Does the writer use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling？ To show Ss what factors should be considered during a writing task, and also offer a standard when they are required to remark others.
Post-Writing
6 Show some students’ writings and remark them To emphasize the standard of the writing
7 Make a summary and encourage Ss to walk into museums and enjoy shows To guide Ss think the meaning of art.
