教学过程 Step 1: Lead in Greet the class, watch a video and answer the following questions: “Where are they ” “How do they like their school ” “How do you like your school ” Step 2: Speaking Show students some pictures about daily routine and lead them to talk about them from step by step. Encourage them to share simple sentences or key words they know. (Purpose: Activate prior knowledge and build interest.) Step 3: Listening Pre-listening After speaking, teacher leads the topic to listen to Jenny’s school life together While listening Activity 1 Listen to the conversation and ask students what subjects Jenny and Wang Mei have Activity 2 Listen to the conversation and figure out what subjects Jenny and Wang Mei both have. Activity 3 Listen to the conversation again and answer the following questions, pay attention to some key sentences. Post listening Activity 1 Pair work Write down some class timetable for a certain day. Then use it to make up a conversation. (Purpose: Enhance speaking ability and learn to talk something about school life.) Activity 2 Group work Work in group of 4 and interview your group member about the following questions. Then choose a leader to make a report. Extended Assignment Interview a classmate in English, asking about their school life, such as their daily courses, favorite subject, etc., and then record the interview content in English.
