1.表示确数：five hundred
2.表示概数：millions of 数百万的
3.复合形容词：the 100-meter race 100米赛跑
4. 基数词与序数词转换：
一二三特殊记（first, second, third），五和十二变f（fifth, twelfth)，
八加h九去e (eighth, ninth)其余一律th
5. 序数词前+ the：It is the first class at school
6. 分数的表达：
分子用基数词，分母用序数词；当分子大于1时，分母中的序数词加s

介词
1. over 在...（正上 ）There are several bridges over the river.
2. around 在...周围 around China= all over China,
around the world= all over the world, around here= near here
3. across 穿过；横过；从表面穿过 Go across the bridge.
4. through 从中间穿过 The sun goes through the window.
5. across from 在...对面 The post office is across from the park.
6. under 在...正下方；below 在...的下方；
over 在...的正上方；above 在...的上方
7. 包含在内部用in，接壤用on，隔河或海或山用to
Shanxi is in the middle of China. 山西在中国的中部
Shandong is to the east of Shanxi. 山东在山西的东部（相隔太行山）

8. at, in, on
at在某地点，表示“相对于说话者来说较近或较狭窄的地方”； in在某地，表示“相对较 或较宽敞的地方”；
on 在······之上(有接触面)
