意义:过去某个时间看来将要发生的动作或存在的状态。
用法:常用于主句谓语动词为过去时态的宾语从句中。
时间状语:the next day (month/ year),the following day (month/year),soon等。
形式:(根据一般将来时来推理过去将来时的形式)

Working out the rules:
We use future in the past to describe an action in the future from the perspective of some point in the past.
We form future in the past in statements by using would, was/were to, was/were to or was/were about to with the base form of a verb.

would do Used to volunteer or promise or make predictions about the future.
was/were to do Used to express official arrangements, official orders and things that should be done.
was/were going to do Used to plan or make predictions about the future
