People often remember what they were doing when they heard the news of important events in history.An important event that I remember well was Wenchuan Earthquake.It happened on May 12th, 2008 in Wenchuan,Sichuan Province.
When I heard the news,I was having an English class with my classmates in the classroom .When my teacher told us the news,We were completely shocked and worried about the safety of the people there.Later,our teacher asked us to pray（祈祷） together.We really hoped that they could go through the difficulties.
I remember this event well because it has been the most serious earthquake since 1949 . A large number of people lost their lives and homes because of it.
It touched the heart of every Chinese.As a student,we should cherish our happy life now.

An important event that I remember well was the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou on September 23rd, 2023 in Hangzhou.
When the opening started,I was watching TV while my parents were drinking tea. We were completely shocked when a digital human lighted Olympic Flame .I thought it was so creative.The shows at the opening were so amazing that we all lost ourselves in them.
I will never forget this event, because it was really exciting to watch such a wonderful show .China is becoming stronger and stronger. I’m so proud of my country!

When I heard the news of the victory,I was cheering on the players while my friends were taking photos. We were pretty excited and jumped up and down happily.
I remember this event well,because our class won the basketball competition for the first time.I understood that union is strength.Every player tried their best to fight in the competition and they were really united（团结的）.I’m so proud of my class!
