单元内容分析
本单元以“保持健康”为主题,旨在通过多种活动帮助学生学会如何用英语谈论保持健康的方式,分自己进行体育运动的频率,并使用物主代词来识别所有权。同时,学生将探索运动如何帮助他们保持健康。
Section A主要围绕“ How often do you do sport or exercise ”展开,通过听力练习、对话练习和语法聚等活动,让学生在实际语境中运用语言知识,提高听说能力。
Section B 则以“How is exercise good for us "为主题,通过阅读学生对保持健康方式的描述、完成格、讨论和项目等方式,引导学生深入了解运动的好处,培养他们的阅读理解能力和团队合作精神。
二、单元教学目标
1.掌握物主代词的用法,能够正确识别所有权。
2.学习并使用频度副词(如 always, usually, sometimes, seldom, never)描述体育运动的频率。
3.学习元音字母i,字母y及字母组合ie的发音规则。
4.提升学生的口语表达能力,能够就如何保持健康进行流利的对话和讨论。
5.增强学生的写作能力,能够撰写关于保持健康的文章或帖子。
6.激发学生思考如何制定合理的运动计划,以及如何在团队中达成共识和维护秩序。
三、单元重难点
重点:
物主代词的用法。
频度副词的使用。
3.如何保持健康的相关话题词汇和表达方式。
难点:
1.理解并正确使用物主代词和频度副词。
2.在实际语境中灵活运用所学语言知识进行听说读写活动。
3.在项目活动中有效组织语言材料,进行合作学习和成果展示。

【教学分析】
教学内容
1.谈论体育活动的频率。
2.字母i,y及字母组合ie的发音规则。
核心素养
学生能够识别并写出与运动相关的词汇。
学生能通过听力理解对话内容,回答关于运动物品归属的问题。
3.学生能运用句型“ Do you have... ”和“How often do you… ”进行简单的对话交流。
4.学生能掌握并正确发音含有特定元音音标的单词。
重点难点
重点:掌握与运动相关的词汇,理解并运用“Do you have.. ”和“How often do you... ”付型。
难点:准确识别听力材料中的信息,以及正确发音含有特定音标的单词。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead-in
Greetings :Good morning/afternoon , everyone! How are you today
Free Talk : Ask students about their favourite sport and why they like playing sport.
Step 2 Work on la
Show the pictures and ask students to say their names. If they can't, help them.
2. Ask students to match the sports items with the words in the box. Write the words on the board as students identify them.
Example : Picture of a baseball-Write “ baseball” under the picture.
Check answers. The answers are :basketball, running shoes , ping-pong bat, exercise mat,tennis racket, jump rope , baseball glove , baseball.
Step 3 Work on 1b
Tell the class: we will listen to the conversations at a sports centre. Read the three questions and guess the answers.
(1)Whose football is it
(2)Whose baseball glove is it
(3)Whose tennis racket is it How do you know
2. Play the audio for the conversations at the sports centre. Pause after each question to let students answer. Then check answers. The answers are :
(1 )It's Han Lin's.
(2 )It's Peter's.
(3)It's Han Lin's. Because it has “HL” on it.
Step 4 Work on 1e
Look at the table in le. Get the class to predict the answers.
2. Play the audio again and ask students to complete the table with the correct information.
Check answers together.

Step 5 Work on 1d
1. Pair students up and ask them to find one sports item that they both have. Then use the structure “ Do you have... " and “How often do you... " to have a conversation.
Example :
A : Do you have a ping-pong bat
B: Yes, I do.
A : How often do you play ping-pong
B:I play it three times a week.
Ask some pairs to act out their conversations in class.
Step 6 Work on Pronunciation 1 -2
Pronunciation 1 : Show the groups of words with the target sounds (i /ar/ //, ie /a//ir/, y /ar/ /i//j/). Play the audio and ask students to repeat after the recording, adding one more word to each group.
Pronunciation 2 : Play the audio with stressed words. Ask students to clap when they hear the stressed words, Then, play the audio again and have students repeat after it.
Step 7 Summary and Homework
Summary: Recap the key vocabulary, structures , and pronunciation points learnt today.
Homework : Write a short dialogue with a partner about their favourite sport and how often they play sport,using the structures learnt in class.
