What do you know about dragonfly
蜻蜓是一种不完全变态昆虫，属于蜻蜓目，具有独特的生物学特征和生态习性。 蜻蜓的翅膀发达，后翅基部比前翅基部稍大，休息时四翅展开，平放于两侧。它们的头部灵活，触角短，复眼发达，具有3个单眼，咀嚼式口器强大有力。蜻蜓的腹部细长，足细而弱，上有钩刺。蜻蜓的稚虫短粗，具直肠鳃，无尾鳃。
蜻蜓主要栖息于湖泊、池塘、溪流和湿地附近，常雌雄成群，夜伏昼出。由于眼睛的特殊构造，白天视力非常好，夜晚视力较弱。它们是凶猛的捕猎者，猎物主要是小鱼和昆虫幼虫。蜻蜓没有产卵器，通常在池塘上方盘旋或沿小溪往返飞行，在飞行中将卵撒落水中。
