Unit 5 Here and Now.(1a-1d)&Pronunciation(1 -2)教学设计
单元内容分析
本单元以“现在进行时”为核心语法点,通过电话交流这一实用场景,引导学生学习如何谈论正在为生的事情,并探索世界各地不同的生活方式。
Section A侧重于听力理解和口语表达,学生通过听对话、回答问题、角色扮演等活动,掌握现在进时的用法以及电话交流的基本礼仪。
Section B则通过阅读材料,让学生了解不同时区人们的日常生活差异,培养学生的跨文化交流意调项目活动要求学生发挥创造力,设计并描述一组公寓及其居民的活动,旨在提升学生的语育综合运用的力和团队合作精神。
单元教学目标
掌握现在进行时的结构及用法,能够正确运用现在进行时描述当前正在发生的事情;
学习元音字母u的发音规则;
学习与电话交流相关的常用表达,如接打电话、邀请对方做某事等,增强口语表达能力,谈论正在进行的活动;
提升阅读理解能力,通过阅读材料了解不同文化背景下的生活方式;
5.培养写作能力,能够撰写简单的电话对话脚本或博客描述;6.增进学生对不同文化的理解和尊重,培养跨文化交流意识。
三、单元重难点
【重点】
现在进行时的构成和用法,特别是动词现在分词的变化规则及知道如何在句中正确使用现在进行时来描述动作。
【难点】
现在进行时与一般现在时的区别及如何根据上下文选择合适的时态。
电话交流中常用表达方式的掌握和应用,以及在不同情境下如何灵活运用语言进行有效沟通。

2.元音字母U的发音及单词重音。

1.学生能够准确识别并书写与日常活动相关的词汇。

3.学生能够运用所学词汇和句型进行角色扮演,模拟真实场景中的电话邀请
4.学生能够掌握字母U在各种音节中的发音规则,识别并朗读出单词的重音。

重点:掌握日常活动词汇,理解电话对话内容,运用所学进行角色扮演。
难点:准确识别并朗读单词的重音,以及在实际对话中灵活运用所学词汇和句型。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead-in
Greet the class.
2. Display pictures of various activities and ask students to name them in English. Introduce new vocabulary if necessary.
Step 2 Work on la
Look at the pictures in 1a. Talk about each picture : What's the boy/girl/man/woman doing What are the people doing Help them answer if they can't.
2. Use la to match the activities with the pictures, Have students write the words under the correct pictures.
3. Check answers in class. The answers are :playing volleyball, reading a book , washing dishes, riding a bike, gardening, shopping
Step 3 Work on 1b
1. Tell the class : We will listen to three conversations. After listening, please answer the following questions.
(1)Who is calling his friends
(2)What activity does he want to do with his friends
(3)How many of his friends are free to do the activity
2. Play the audio for lb and ask students to answer the questions;
3. Check answers in class, The answers are :
(1 )Peter.
(2)He wants to play volleyball.
(3)0ne.
Step 4 Work on 1c
l.Read the questions and the answers in le. Ask students to guess the answer to each question.
2. Play the audio again for lc and have students match the questions with the answers.
3. Check answers. The answers are:l.C 2.A 3. B.
4. Practise reading the listening scripts.
Step 5 Work on 1d
l. First model the conversation in 1d with a student. Pair students and have them practise the phone conversation in id, "Then ask them to work in pairs. Encourage creativity and.
the new vocabulary.
Ask some students to act out their conversations in class.
Step 6 Work on Pronunciation 1 -2
1. Explain the rules of pronunciations of letter u.
2. Have them listen and repeat the sounds.
3. Then add words to each group.
4. Look at the conversation in Pronunciation 2. Ask students which words are stressed underline the words. Then listen and repeat.
5. Ask some students to read the conversation.
Step 7 Summary
Summarize the key points learned in the lesson.
Step 8 Homework
Write a short dialogue based on the phone conversation they practised.

通过本节课的教学,学生不仅掌握了与日常活动相关的词汇,而且通过听力练习和角色扮演活动,他们的听力和口语能力得到了锻炼。特别是角色扮演环节,学生们积极参与,创造性地使用所学词汇和句型,这符合英语新课标中强调的“学用结合、实践导向”的教学理念。然而,在发音练习部分,部分学生对于单词重音的把握不够准确,需要在后续教学中加强指导,提供更多的练习机会。此外,虽然大多数学生能够理解并回答听力问题,但在实际对话中灵活运用所学词汇和句型的能力还有待提高。因此,在未来的教学中,我将设计更多贴近学生生活的对话情境,让学生在真实语境中练习和运用英语,进一步提高他们的语言交际能力。
