French: 使用人口1. 2亿,43个国家,它被广泛的在国际性社交和外交活动中应用,作为仅次于英语。联合国的成员中几乎只有中国使用汉语,汉语在联合国内的使用频率和流通率不大,在联合国原始文件中,英文占80%,法文占15%,西班牙文占4%,中文、俄文和阿拉伯文加在一起才占1%。欧洲语言的结构和词汇在不同程度上相互相近,同声传译并不困难,中文与欧洲语言差别大、翻译速度慢,懂的人少,译员除了要把别的语言译成中文,还要把中文译成通用的英文或法文,因此,中文处人数最多,中文同声传译的难度相当大。法语因为其用法的严谨,所以像法律条文这种严谨的重要文件在国际上都是用法语书写,联合国将英语定为第一发言语言,法语为第一书写语言,官方文件一般会有法语和英语两种版本,但当有歧异的时候以法语为准。虽然世界上讲法语的人数并不多,但是讲法语的国家却分布非常广,如果按照语言全球分布面积而言,英语是第一大语言,那么法语当之无愧就是第二大语言。法语是联合国(UN)及下属国际组织,欧盟(EU)及下属机构,国际奥委会(IOC),法语国家国际组织(FIO),世贸组织(WTO),国际红十字会(IRC),北约组织(NATO),国际足联(FIFA)等国际组织的官方语言。
西班牙语是世界第三大语言,在拉丁美洲(除巴西和海地之外)的19个国家中使用,美国有4个州使用西班牙语作为常用语言,有自己的西语电台,电视台,报刊,杂志等。 Are you familiar with these countries?
