本单元的主题是“互联网”,属于“人与社会”主题语境下的“科学与技术”这一主题群,围绕有关互联网的话题展开。21世纪时信息时代,互联网已与人们的生活密不可分。它在给人们生活带来便捷的同时也给我们带来了一些问题,如网络安全,网络霸凌,网络诈骗等欺诈网民人身和财产安全的问题。这些都在提醒人们在尽情享受网络使用便利的同时,也要增加网络防护意识,保护个人隐私和上网安全。 主要内容分析:本单元语篇类型主要有调查类访谈,对话,诗歌,记叙文等。整个单元基本按照“听、说、读、写、看”五大板块编排,各个活动主要围绕互联网对人们日常生活的影响而展开。每个板块都以一种语言技能活动为主,兼顾对其它技能的培养,关注语言的理解性技能和表达性技能的协调发展。

我校学生整体说来,英语基础一般,尤其是语言表达方面相对较弱,但是刚进入高中,学生对英语的学习还是较有热情的,尤其以英特网展开的话题是他们很熟悉,也是乐于分享和表达的。教师对单元内容做了一些调整,增加了课堂中的语言输入,降低难度在,增强学生语言表达能力。
开 放 性 学 习 环 境
开放的学习工具—多媒体。利用多媒体教学,使学生能更快地接受教学内容。例如在listening and talking中,教师用到了希沃app的手机投屏功能,生动又自然地引入到新课主题app。 开放的教学手段:1.立足教材进行教学;2.拓展教材。例如在授课时,教师可以自然地有意识地进行德育渗透,例如在listening and speaking板块中,除了完成听力训练,也可以使学生反思自己的上网习惯。 教学中吧主动权交给学生:让学生发挥自己的水平,大胆提出问题,主动地参与课堂教学例如在学习The present perfect passive voice ,教师可以组织学生进行辩论,主题为“互联网的利与弊”

与核心素养的关系说明: 本单元通过不同的板块和不同的话题,在提升学生语言技能的同时,也引发了学生对网络的深刻思考,教育学生理智、健康地使用网络。例如听说板块对于上网时间、上网习惯的调查,引导学生反思自己的上网习惯和时间。读思部分,通过分享女教师Jan用互联网改变自己的生活并帮助其他老年人学会使用互联网,从而也改变了他们的生活和命运的美好故事,让同学们了解到互联网+给社会文明带来的变化。读写部分引导同学们理智地使用网络,注意网络安全。最后又通过学习自评表,引导学生在学习过程中注意自我评价和自我反思。还有不同的项目活动和视频等多种形式,引导学生关注互联网上的学习资源,鼓励学生学会交流、学会比较、学会分享。从而培养了学生合作、交流、共享的优秀品质。

教学反思
在备课时,我注意到了一些学生有可能出现问题的地方,并做了如下调整,比如 在处理listening and speaking时要填写的Online activities 内容过多,我适当降低难度改成填写关键词,或者选择题。 在listening and talking的听力训练前解释新词,为后面的练习扫清障碍。 在写作前,梳理博文要点时,最好让学生结合阅读文本来总结要点,老师再完善补充;而且当学生点评小组作品时,对于不足之处,是否可以让“点评老师”来修改小组作品。
单元作业/测试(自选项)
针对本单元的综合测试卷(附件) 由于课上时间有限,继续让学生以小组形式完善app的设计,包括美化图标,选择logo,充实功能,制成海报,届时公布评选方法和赋值法,在班里评出 “最佳创意奖” “最佳实用奖” “第一鬼马奖”…… 给Jan写封邮件,表达读到她故事后的感受,并表示自己的打算。

本单元第5 课时 Choosing the best app 听说课
语篇研读 本课在单元中既位置居中又地位居中。此前涉及的英特网对大家生活的改变和影响很宏观,而手机APP是几乎是学生每天都会接触到的,所以怎样挑选适合自己的APP就显得及其重要。
What听力文本是Laura和Xiao Bo 的一段对话,他们谈论的话题是“选择合适的应用软件”。虽然没有交代具体的情景和人物身份,但话题具有普遍性,真实地存在于当前的社会语境中,贴近学生生活。Why这是本单元的第5课时,进一步讨论网络对人们生活的影响。随着手机和电脑平板等便携智能设备的大规模普及,用智能设备连接英特网既方便又快捷,深受人们喜爱尤其是中学生。在校外随时随地可见机不离手的年轻人APP让设备满足人们各种需求,如何选择有益身心的手机软件对中学生来说尤为重要。本文的价值取向在于,学生通过本文的学习养成良好的上网行为习惯,塑造正确的世界观,人生观和价值观。How从刚开始的对话中不难发现两人是相熟的年轻人,首先XiaoBo坦言最近在找健身的APP,“There’s an app that counts every step you take during the day”后面又用了might,would,I think,imagine 这样的语言表猜测。接着Laura又表达了想致富的想法,用到suppose, would,guess,could,对Xiao Bo推荐的未知的APP表推测。 “Every time you pay for something with your phone, it puts a little money into a bank account”这两句话说出了健身和存款的共性, 那就是“不积跬步无以至千里”下面Laura谈到想提高学习成绩也是同样的道理。青少年普遍最关心的三个问题都可以用坚持来回答,足可见坚持的重要性。在本节课学习结束时,希望学生们能够学会在合适的场合表达自己的猜测,推测和想法,并选择适合个人成长发展的APP,同时也能意识到,凡事不能一蹴而就,要制定切实可行的计划。
学情分析
本课的授课对象是银川六中高一年级学生,他们在听文本材料时已经掌握一定的取信息、处理信息的能力,但学生英语语言基础薄弱,好在英特网是他们熟悉并热衷表达的内容,通过本课的听读和模仿,和对关键句型的掌握,希望学生们能通过模仿来表达自己的观点。

教学重难点
这段听力材料中的一些生词会对学生造成一定的听力障碍,老师要在听力之前处理新单词,比如what’s up?oink,piggy bank, 以及add some oink to my piggy bank. 模仿听力材料中表达预测、猜想和看法的词汇,并在谈话中恰当地运用和表达。 学生经过3遍听力训练,大多数能达到听取细节和大意的教学目标,在听力之后,老师抓取关键词,并在黑板上列出,也便于学生在说的环节随时参考;老师不断创设情境,训练学生使用表达预测,猜测和看法的词汇;引入两个虚拟的APP继续强化功能词汇的迁移。 最后的APP设计比赛,评奖细则是个难点,但中心是对学生成长有益。

Laptop computers are popular all over the world. People use them on trains and airplanes, in airports and hotels. These laptops connect people to their workplace. In the United States today, laptops also connect students to their classrooms.
Westlake College in Virginia will start a laptop computer program that allows students to do schoolwork anywhere they want. Within five years, each of the 1500 students at the college will receive a laptop. The laptops are part of a $10 million computer program at Westlake, a 110-year-old college. The idea behind Facebook is to make us feel connected all the time. But in my research, I’ve found that the truth is quite different.
Technology, it turns out, has made being alone seem like a problem that needs solving. When young people are alone, even for a minute or two, they feel the need to connect, to get on Facebook or some other social networks and chat.
