In zero conditional, it's "If + present simple, present simple", stating general truths. The first conditional is "If + present simple, will + base verb", for likely future events. The second uses "If + past simple, would + base verb" for unreal present/future, and the third is "If + past perfect, would have + past participle" for past unreal situations.
