Family celebrations, such as holidays and birthday parties, are always a lot of fun. When family members get together, they talk and laugh. They often talk about today, the past or the future.
Here are some ideas to help you save your memories:
It’s never too late to start an album of family
photos.You can ask family members to choose
some photos from their collections. When you all
get together, you can make a slide show. People
always enjoy looking at old pictures.
Cameras are useful for recording videos of
the family. Everyone can make a video from their
own point of view. Videos are lively. They help
you remember happy times.
It’s fun to make a family tree. Write the names, birth dates and hobbies of different family members. You can use photos, too. You can also write their interesting stories on the family tree.
When there is a new family member---for example, a new baby---don’t forget to add
him or her to the family tree.
If you can’t attend a family celebration, don’t
worry about it. You can write everyone a letter or
an e-mail, or you can call them. You can even
talk to your family members face to face over the
Internet. Never forget to stay in touch with your
family.
