The best way to help elephants is to make safe places.These places keep elephants away from people.Dr Robert Guldemond works on a study about this.He says，“For a long time，we heard bad news about killing elephants.But now，good work is changing things.”
In the past，many elephants died because people wanted their ivory.Elephants also lost their homes because humans built more villages and farms.
