More and more people around the world are joining in dangerous sports. Some people climbed the highest mountains; some travelled into unknown parts of the world; some sailed small boats across the largest sea. Now some people begin to look for new excitement.
Bungee jumping(蹦极) and motorcycle racing(摩托车赛) are quite dangerous sports. Bungee jumping only lasts for a few minutes or even seconds. You jump from a high place, about 200 metres above the ground, and there is a rubber band(橡胶带子) tied to your legs. When you jump down, the rubber band pulls you up. About 2 million people around the world have tried bungee jumping.

You're sitting in a tiny car. The car is part of a very small train that runs on a narrow track. Slowly, the little train climbs to the top of a huge hill.

Sometimes, amusement parks close the roller coasters to everyone except ACE members.
“If there's no one in line,” says Steven, “we keep our seats and ride again!”
It's not all fun for ACE members. They also have a job to do. They tell owners of new amusement parks where the old roller coasters are. The owners buy the old roller coasters and move them to new homes so that they can be fixed instead of being destroyed(毁坏).

Shadow puppetry(皮影戏) started during the Western Han Dynasty and it has a long history of more than 2,000 years. It used to be popular in the countryside because it was simple and cheap.
The puppets are usually made from leather(皮革) or paper. It is hard to make them. The puppet-makers have to take 24 steps, which include washing the leather, carving(雕刻) and painting, to make a puppet.
Just like many things that are in danger, traditional arts also face the risk of disappearing. “Many young people still think that shadow puppetry is an old-fashioned folk art,” said Liu Chaokan, the sixth-generation inheritor(继承人) of shadow puppetry in Yunnan Province.
Liu understands why old art forms can't interest young people, so he connects new stories with the traditional form of storytelling. In a recent show based on the ancient Chinese novel Journey to the West, Baigujing dances to a Korean pop song. Popular Chinese cartoon characters, together with modern factors(元素), are Liu's secret of getting the attention of children. “Since they couldn't understand those old stories, why don't we show them the cartoon characters they love in shadow puppetry shows?” said Liu.
To keep the old art forever young, Liu thinks they should respect(尊重) its traditions and protect the basics of the art.

A
根据表格“★①How often do you watch TV?”
根据表格“★②How often do you surf the Internet?”
根据表格中的信息可知,只有“★①How often do you watch TV?”以及“★④How often do you help to do housework?”
根据文章开头“What do you usually do in your free time?Last month we asked 100 students about their free time activities. Here are the results.” 故选A。
B
根据最后一段中的“Many people think that there is little excitement in life.”
根据第一段中的“More and more people around the world are joining in dangerous sports. Some people climbed the highest mountains; some travelled into unknown parts of the world; some sailed small boats across the largest sea.”
根据倒数第二段中的“In the past, people lived in danger. They had to go out and look for food, and life was like a fight...” 故选A。
根据倒数第二段中的“modern life has become safe and it is not interesting”可知,现代生活无趣, 所以选项A “每个人的生活都很有趣” 表述错误。故选A。

根据第二段第一句“You're high above the ground, so high that you can see for miles. Suddenly, you rush toward the ground at a speed that takes your breath away.”
根据第三段中的“Some people think riding a roller coaster is really terrifying. One ride is more than enough for them, even in a lifetime. However, other people love riding roller coasters.”
根据第四段中的“There's a club for people who are very crazy about riding roller coasters. It's called ACE. ACE is a short form for American Coaster Enthusiasts(热衷者).”

They tell owners of new amusement parks where the old roller coasters are.”
