单元主题及主要内容分析
单元主题: 本单元主要围绕“音乐和电影“来谈论喜好,从音乐入手,把课改理念渗透到教学中,从谈论音乐入手,引导学生学会如何谈论对音乐、书籍、运动及其他的喜好。在谈论这个话题的同时,学习并掌握that, which,who引导的定语从句。定语从句在初中教材中是一个很重要的知识点,学好这一单元对后面的学习很有帮助,起着承上启下的作用。在中考中,不但语法填空要涉及这方面的内容,而且在也阅读理解中也有大量的定语从句出现,如果不能够很好地掌握它,势必影响学生今后对阅读文章的理解。因此,本单元不仅是本册书的重点,在整个初中教学中,他都占着非常重要的地位。A本部分的主题图展现了四个人谈困自己所喜欢的音乐,很自然地呈现了本单元地重点语言结构----定语从句。通过A 部分的学习,学生应掌握一些与音乐和电影相关地词汇,能够通过听和读获取有关音乐和电影地乡关信息,了解以that, which,who引导的定语从句在不同语境中地功能和作用,并能模仿和表达自己喜欢的音乐和电影,该部分的教学难点是让学生理解定语从句与先行词之间的修饰关系。B部分在A部分的基础上进一步拓展话题,让学生能够运用所学结构谈论其他喜好, 阅读部分还涉及了中国国的民间音乐及音乐家,因而也增加了相关的词汇和表达句式。该部分的重点是运用nothing supporting details的阅读策略对文本经行解读,了解音乐评介类文章的特点,本部分的教学难点是运用具体信息描写事物。 单元主题思维导图见下页:
主题学情分析
九年级的学生经过两年的学习积累已经有一定的英语基础,而且这些孩子整体英语水平较高,而且求知欲也比较强,青春期的孩子对音乐和电影有浓厚的兴趣且有自己独到的看法和理解,因此教师要给学生表现的机会,引导他们积极主动地说出自己喜欢的音乐,电影,乐队等。
开放性学习环境
【理论依据】:创设环境,激发兴趣,培养能力,是学生个性发展的重要因素。开放式教学环境,即打破传统的机械式教学模式,采用多种行之有效的教学手段,运用先进、科学的教学方法,设计有效的教学活动,活跃课堂气氛,使学生在活动中学,活动中乐,体味知识乐趣,使学生学有所得,给学生提供表现自我、展示自我、发展自我的个性发展空间,营造出一个“和谐、民主、快乐”的学习氛围。所以创设环境“势在必行”,个性发展“首当其冲”。 【具体实施】 采用多种行之有效的教学手段,激发兴趣,创设开放式英语教学环境:比如在说到最喜欢的事物时:我会有意的说喜欢我们学校及理由,喜欢我们班及理由,最喜欢的人物时:我会引导孩子们说自己的老师,父母或者我们的国家英雄等。 二、巧用声音特点,妙用身体语言,感染学生,渲染气氛,开化学生性格 我是一个性格外向的老师,所以我上课经常是用抑扬顿挫、语调丰富、风趣幽默、充满诱因或悬念的语言,并配以丰富的表情和身体语言来组织、驾驭课堂教学,尽量给学生创造出一个轻松、快乐的学习氛围,在此氛围中,兴趣培养的同时,也就逐渐塑造了开朗、活泼、自信的性格,进一步增强了学习的兴趣,充分体现了环境为个性发展提供广阔的塑造空间。 不失时机地表扬、鼓励,是学生个性发展的催化剂,在我课堂中我会根据问题的难易程度叫不同程度的孩子,班里有个男孩子在学“我喜欢...的女孩”这个定于从句中主动举手说:I like girls who are beautiful. 我当时就问孩子们:此处应该有什么?因为经常这样表扬孩子,所以孩子们马上面向这位同学使劲鼓掌,这个同学后面会经常说一些简单的定语从句来说明自己喜欢的人或者事物。 师生互动,为学生个性发展创造重要条件,这个互动不仅是语言上的,我觉得更多的是眼神的互动和心灵的互动,我上课会经常看孩子的眼睛是否是跟着我的,如果孩子跟我有眼神的交流,那么这个孩子这节课他一定是有所获的。

持续性评价的手段与方式
小组合作评价方式: 对于学习像大阅读这样的长篇文章时我经常采用小组合作评价的方式,具体操作如下: 小组合作完成阅读任务,简单的任务,比如直接可以在文章中可以找到答案的鼓励小组中基础较弱的孩子回答,凡是回答对都给小组加分,并且可以得到全班同学的掌声;对于需要深度思考的问题,比如阿炳这篇文章是谁写的,需要抓住文章关键词并需要简单推理的可以交给每组中等的学生,也可以是小组简单讨论之后得出结论再让中等同学抢答的形式回答;回答最有难度的问题就交给组里基础较好的同学来完成;如果可以提出问题或者提出有深度的问题都可以小组获的加分,小组成绩综合前五的小组可以获得减作业等福利。老师尽量不要用No, you are wrong等句子,打击学生的学习积极性,多鼓励孩子,同时可以有礼貌地指出并加以纠正。
教学反思
本单元的主题是:围绕“音乐和电影“来谈论喜好,但是在具体学习时,可以大胆的拓展孩子们的喜好,比如天气,书,教师,学校,老师,父母,校长等等,让孩子们大胆的在语境中学习和应用that, which,who引导的定语从句,不要仅仅拘泥于课本,可以让孩子尝试以写诗的形式来复习巩固定于从句来谈论自己的喜好。对于本单元的1a-2c及B1部分的听力整合完全有必要,因为谈论的几乎是同样的主题,事实证明整合后也是可以完成教学任务的。对于2d和3a小阅读的整合也是成功的,因为它们都是谈论电影这个话题的。至于写作,个人觉得没有太大必要专门去讲,因为写作可以融合到平时每节课中,让学生完成若干个小话题的小练笔写作。

本单元第4课时 Reading: Sad but Beautiful
设计思想
本课以《英语课程标准》(2011版)中的核心理念为依据,力求通过本课的设计,使学生在运用阅读策略获取信息,找寻主题句及细节支撑,理解故事情节发展的过程,发展思维能力和综合语言运用能力。 在英语学习过程中,阅读策略的有效使用,不仅可以帮助学生提高学习效率,而且有助于学生形成自主学习的能力,为终身学习奠定基础。因此,在本课中,通过布置阅读训练任务:回答问题,找寻主题句及支持主题句的细节和例子,填写表格,问题追问,提高学生用英语获取信息,处理信息及分析问题和解决问题的能力,培养思维能力,提高综合运用语言的能力。 情感态度是英语课程的目标之一,本节课通过引导学生深入挖掘文本,了解音乐形式与背景,并感悟和分享音乐带来的情感体验。
语篇研读
本单元Unit 9围绕“音乐和电影”情感这个话题,主要是表达喜好,通过学习旨在使学生都能感悟音乐的同时并能根据篇章的主旨大意找出相关的细节。本课选Unit9 Section B(2a-2e)是一节阅读课。 【What】本节课主要是讲述中国民间音乐家阿炳的生平和他的代表作“二泉映月”在中国的影响。本人重点讲述阿炳早年丧母,青年丧父,及自己艰难的生活,但是他坚持自己的音乐爱好,始终没有放弃自己对音乐的热爱,早年的不幸生活也锻炼了他坚韧的品质。 【Why】 这是一篇音乐评介类的文章,所以本文用到了大量的生词和短语,比如:strangely beautiful, sense, develop a serious illness, it is a pity that and so on. 根据文章的结构特点,本文可以分为三个部分,第一部分重点说了作者听完 “二泉映月”的感受;第二部分重点介绍了阿炳的生平,第三部分介绍了阿炳的音乐影响力。 定语从句的大量使用使得文中句子结构多样,句子更加的优美。 【How】通过学习这篇文章让学生对民间艺人阿炳有一个更深的了解,学会体会和理解音乐背后真正的 内涵,了解他的音乐创作背景并学会感悟音乐,以此来激发学生能坚强面对困难,努力走向成功,拥有坚强的意志力,一颗爱国的心及为传承发扬我们的传统文化而努力学习。
学情分祈
学生对于英语阅读学习中需要使用的策略有所掌握,如阅读中的获取大意和关键信息,找寻主题句和大意等;音乐和电影本身就是学生感兴趣的话题,所以凄美的二泉映月更能激发学生探索其创作背景与作者的生平,同时为本文的学习进行了充分的激发与铺垫。学生在理解“凄美”这个深层含义时应该有困难。

本节课达到了预设的教学目标,教学内容与学生的亲身体验紧密结合,教学设计巧妙实用,教学环节层层递进,以学生为中心开发课程资源,设计各项任务活动,让学生在主动探究的过程中学会并运用知识,真正成为课堂教学的主角。 导入新颖,铺垫自然。课堂以欣赏二胡曲《二泉印月》开始,一方面可以激发学生探知我们民间乐器的兴趣,提高学习的积极性;同时通过欣赏乐曲,学生能够感受到我们国家民间音乐的优美,激发学生对民族文化的热爱,让学生在潜移默化中受到教育。另一方面欣赏乐曲可以让学生加深对这首乐曲的理解,对短文中作者的感受有着深刻的体验,为进一步理解短文做好铺垫。 阅读教学活动任务设计先总后分,符合学生认知规律。阅读教学围绕各段中心,抓住具体细节,帮助学生理解短文,完成阅读任务。读前、读中和读后活动有机成为一体,相互促进,体现“学为了用”这一目的,使学生在掌握语言结构的同时能够熟练运用它们。 由于对学生的预习情况和深度思考欠缺,导致本节课在深度思考问题上孩子们挖掘的还是不够深入,今后在孩子们的思维培养上多下点功夫,多追问。

Wild cats are probably the most active animals. They are beautiful but dangerous to people. Here we will introduce four types of wild cats.
African Golden Cat—This is a small cat compared to the other wild cats. It's double the size of a home cat and it can be found in the forests of Central and West Africa. African golden cats, also known as Profelis Aurata, catch birds and small monkeys for food. They come in all kinds of colours including black, brown and grey.
Cheetah—This is the fastest land animal, with speed reaching up to 70 miles per hour. Cheetahs weigh about between 110 and 140 pounds and they're widely known for the spotted coat. In a zoo a cheetah can live for nearly 20 years, but it lives for 12 years while in the wild in America.
Lion—The lion is the king of the grassland, known to be the most powerful animal in Asia and Africa. A male lion is 4 feet tall, 8 feet long and weighs about 450 pounds. A female lion, on the other hand, weighs about 300 pounds. Male lions have manes(鬃毛) that often grow fuller and darker as they grow older.
Wildcat—The wildcats live in parts of Arabia, Asia and Europe. Wildcats also look like home cats and it's actually difficult to tell the difference between them. They mainly prey on small birds, which are their main food.
