(二)反身代词
1.意义与形式:反身代词表示谓语动词的动作返回行为主体本身,或动词宾语和主语所指的人或物相同,或对此加以强调;它与它所指代的名词或代词形成互指关系。在人称、性别、数上应保持一致。
History repeats itself.历史往往重演。
We shook hands and introduced ourselves.我们握手并介绍我们自己。
2.用法:
(1)反身代词不仅可以放在动词后面用作宾语,还可以放在介词后面作宾语,而且可以在句子中作表语和同位语。如:
We can teach ourselves English with the help of a dictionary.在字典的帮助下我们能自学英语。(动词宾语)
Lei Feng thought of others instead of himself.雷锋考虑别人而不是他自己。(介词宾语)
That poor boy was myself.这个可怜的男孩就是我自己。(表语)
Sally herself came back.萨莉自己回去了。(同位语)
(2)反身代词可强调某人无别人帮助或不受干扰做某事,这种用法中的反身代词通常置于句末。
She made these cards herself.她自己制作了这些卡片。
The little boy worked out the Maths problem himself.那个小男孩自己算出了这个数学题。
(3)用于固定习语。如:
dress oneself穿衣  call oneself自称   help oneself to...请自便(食用)
express oneself自述 enjoy oneself玩得高兴 all by oneself独自地
二、基础用法梳理 —— 介词
介词是一种表示词与词、词与句之间关系的虚词,在句中不单独作句子成分,通常不重读。介词运用很广,可以与许多词搭配,表达多种意思。
(一)你知道多少介词 请写在下面的方框内。
介词用法灵活,差别细微,从各地的中考题来看,考查内容主要集中在时间介词、方位介词及介词与其他词的搭配。

几乎每个介词都有它的空间含义,由其空间含义可引申出其他意思。掌握介词的空间含义有助于我们推出介词在不同情景中的含义。比如 on的空间含义是:一个物体与一个平面直接接触,正如 “a cup on the table”
“stand on one’s foot”。on的引申义为压力、压迫感,比如 “shame on you”“bad luck on you”。on的这种引申义决定了其只适用于令人不快的事情,因此,good luck我们不能搭配on, 而需to, 或者with。真正理解介词的空间含义非常重要。同学们在学习介词时要主动将介词的引申义与其空间含义联系起来,结合对应例句,纷繁复杂的介词搭配理解起来记忆就不难了!

二、词汇用法分析与归纳
1.allow的用法
allow sb.to do sth.意为“允许某人做某事”。 The teachers don’t allow us to fight.老师不允许我们打架。
allow doing sth.意为“允许做某事”。We don’t allow smoking here.我们不允许在这儿抽烟。
2.blind的用法
blind为形容词,意为“瞎的;失明的”。She can’t see anything.
She is blind.她什么也看不见。她失明了。

4.lead的用法
lead为动词,意为”带路;领路”,其过去式/过去分词为led。其常见用法如下:

(2)lead to导致;通往。Too much sweet can lead to toothache.吃太多甜的东西可能会导致牙疼。All roads lead to Rome.条条大路通罗马。

5.asleep的用法
asleep为形容词,意为“睡着的”,只作表语,不作前置定语。Your grandpa is asleep.你爷爷睡着了。

6.stop sb./sth.(from) doing sth.的用法
stop sb./sth.(from) doing sth.意为“阻止某人或某物做某事”,同义短语为keep/prevent sb./ sth.from doing sth.。
