名词是用来表示人、事物、地点、概念等的词,按其所表示的事物的性质分为可数名词和不可数名词。

1. 用much, a lot of, some, little, a little
修饰不可数名词,表示量的多少。
1) We have much homework today.
2) There is a lot of water in the bottle.
3) She needs some help.
4) He has little time to finish his work.
5) I have a little juice in my glass.

2. 用数词+量词+of+不可数名词,表示具体的量。常用的量词有cup, glass, bottle, piece等。
1) I had a cup of tea yesterday.
2) She drinks a glass of milk every morning.
3) He opened two bottles of orange juice.
4) Can I have a piece of cake
量词既可与不可数名词连用,也可与可数名词连用。与可数名词连用时,可数名词必须用复数形式。如:two bags of apples
