For 12-year-old Joe Whale, mistakes are not problems. They're “chances” to have fun making art. And making art is what Joe has been doing since he was a kid.
At school, Joe finished his homework quickly and then he would doodle. He doodled on his math textbook, on the whiteboard, and on his table. His teachers were not always excited to find the animals, food, and other things on unexpected places!
Then, Joe was sent to the after-school art classes by his parents. His art teacher gave him a whole wall to doodle on. When he was doodling on the wall, he felt like he was flying in the sky of his imagination. He also posted his works on social media, and he gradually had lots of followers. He became known as “the doodle boy,” and people really enjoyed his works.
Soon Joe had his first real show. At the age of nine, he doodled on an 8-foot by 8-foot wall of a restaurant in his hometown. It took him twelve hours to fill the wall. Joe used his favorite drawing tool: a black marker pen. He drew while crouching (蹲下) on his knees on a chair. “At the time, I didn't understand scale properly, so I drew my characters small, just like on paper,” he said.
Joe doesn't always make plans for his art ahead. If he meets problems, he just looks around and tries to mix the problems into the art. “For example, if I'm hungry, I will draw all kinds of delicious food,” he said.
Here's his advice to other creative kids: “It's hard for us to make everyone happy. Just do whatever you love and don't let anything stop you.”

C. To show Joe creates his art in a free way.
D. To teach us how to doodle well like Joe.
( )30.What does the passage mainly tell us

Have you ever thought about what's more important, looking fashionable or feeling comfortable Many people choose style over comfort and some even go to extremes (极端) to follow fashion. But we should remember: being fashionable isn't everything. It's more important to be healthy.
Some people believe that they need to be a certain size to look good. So, they start extreme diets (日常饮食). They might not eat meals or eat too little, which can make them feel sick. Is it a healthy way to live
Also, many girls wear shoes with very high heels to make them look taller. But these shoes can actually hurt their feet and make it hard to walk comfortably. Some even wear tight (紧的) clothes that influence blood circulation (循环),making it hard to breathe. Should we put fashion over comfort and physical health
Besides, some boys and girls spend a lot of time and money changing their hair color. The material they use is usually harmful to their health. To make their hair straight or curly, they also use tools that are hot enough to burn their hair. But using these tools too often can make the hair dry or even burnt. Is it really worth it to risk our health, spending so much time and money
So, let's rethink what's really important. Is it fashion or is it our well-being Clothes or hairstyles don't tell us anything about a person's character. Instead of spending a lot of time choosing clothes, we could use that time to do fun things with friends. And instead of following extreme diets, let's eat properly and exercise regularly. Remember, your worth is not decided by your appearance, but by who you are as a person.
( )31. Why do some people go on extreme diets according to the text
A. Because the diets are healthy.
B. Because they want to save time.
C. Because they want to save money.
D. Because they just want to look pretty.
( )32. What is the writer's purpose of using a question in each paragraph
A. To ask for help from readers.
B. To describe the latest fashion.
C. To tell how to spend time and money.
D. To lead readers to think about the topic.
( )33. What does the underlined word “well-being” in Paragraph 5 mean
A. Growth. B. Health. C. Warmth. D. Wealth.
( )34. What is the structure of the passage (P=Paragraph)
( )35.What can we learn from the text
A. You are what you eat.
B. Laughter is the best medicine.
C. Don't judge a book by its cover.
D. Actions speak louder than words.
D

Does food make you happy Does a picture of a dog make you feel calm 36. “People haven't realized the happiness of being outdoors,” says a researcher. In South Korea, many people have to deal with stress from work and school. But this very hardworking country respects nature. There is an old saying in South Korea: Body and soil are one! At the Saneum Healing Forest, people often go hiking through forests. During one visit, 40 firefighters take part in a free, three-day program. “38. ”one of the firefighters says.“I want to live here for a month.”
39. Researchers can find out how time spent in the outdoors causes changes in the body. A study in Japan compares people who spend time in forests with those who spend time in cities. The people who spend time in nature show a lower blood pressure.
One of the researchers believes our bodies can relax because they are from natural places. 40. “Our senses are better at interpreting(解读) information from nature than traffic and tall buildings!”says the researcher.
