高考应用文复习之活动报道
活动报道是用概括性的叙述方式,简明扼要的文字,报道事实消息的一种文体。活动/新闻报道是媒体传递信息最常使用的手段。为了让读者对整个事情有清楚的了解,英语新闻报道必须包含六个要素:时间(when)、地点(where)、人物(who)、事件(what)、原因(why),以及方式(how)。答题过程最重要的是抓住活动报道的特点,即准确性、真实性、简明性与时效性;其语言应该是具体、真实的,应该尽量少用抽象的概念。

Aiming to enhance the security awareness of our students, and teach them what to do when a fire or an emergency happens, our school organized a fire evacuation drill this morning.
At half past nine o'clock am, we heard the alarm. Instructed by some teachers in charge, we rushed to the appointed spots in order. Afterwards, we followed the messages on the air to head for the safe place. On arriving at the playground,we stood in line. Our headmaster made a summary, attaching great importance to safety.
