My amazing Naadam experience
The teaching aims:
To know how to express our feelings and emotions when we describe a festival experience ,such as excited, amazed,annoyed,disapointed and so on.
To master the ability to write a festival experience.

The teaching procedure:
Step 1 lead in
Have you ever heard of Naadam If not,let’s enjoy a video .
If so, have you ever experienced it If not , let’s enjoy a video
While watching ,pay attention to the activities.
设计意图:通过与课文相关的视频欣赏让学生对那达慕大会有一种身临其境的感觉,提升学生对文本文化的感知程度。
Step2 Reading for some information
First , I will divide the whole class into six groups .I hope you can answer the questions bravely and actively.Later,the group whose scores is the most can get a priority in the writing activity.
Give students 1 minutes to scan the first paragraph.
Task1 What does “Naadam” mean Which events does it include
Task2 What in your opinion is the most impressive thing about the festival
设计意图:通过对文本相关信息的搜集,从文字上去了解那达慕大会的一些基本信息。
Step 3 learn the language features and the stucture (小组讨论和分工合作)two minutes
Task 1 find the sentences that can describe the author’s feelings and emotions ,(一共有7句)
which are all so exciting to watch;
After the opening ceremony and some amazing performances;
I was quite moved by their show of strength and grace;
I absolutely enjoyed the archery, too, but the horse races were my favorite part;
I was surprised to see that the riders were boys and girls;
I was a little worried about the children's safety;
feeling really tired; was totally worth it; I can't wait!
Task2
Let’s read the first , the second ,and the last paragraph. We can imitate it when we write such an article.

The closing paragraph I’m finally back home now, feeling (动词现在分词作状语)really tired, but celebrating …with…(动词现在分词短语作主语) was totally worth it.

设计意图:本节课的重心是通过对文本的结构和语言分析,进而写出自己的节日经历,所以罗列六个节日,放宽学生写作的范围,也希望学生能写出自己的节日经历。
