如首段提到 “Have you ever wondered why some people can learn new languages so easily while others struggle This article will explore the reasons behind it.”,能看出文章要探讨不同人学习语言有差异的原因。
若尾段说 “In conclusion, by understanding and applying these principles of time management, you can greatly increase your productivity and achieve more in your daily life.”,可明确文章是关于时间管理原则及其作用。
如首段提出 “Social media has both positive and negative impacts on our lives”,后面几段分别论述积极影响和消极影响。
例如文章开头提出 “How to deal with stress in modern life”,可知文章主要围绕应对生活压力的方法等内容展开。

(2025·福建泉州·二模)I always admired my grandmother Jenny’ s gardening skills. But it wasn’t until a sunny afternoon in her backyard that I became interested in gardening myself. We were there to grow tomatoes. She handed me a tiny young tomato plant. 1 It’s a family tradition!
Over time, the tiny seedling (幼苗) had grown into a large tomato plant with many juicy red tomatoes. Harvesting those tomatoes with my grandma was a joy I won’t forget. We spent hours in her kitchen making delicious homemade spaghetti sauce. 2
My time in the garden with my grandma showed me that gardening is more than just a hobby. It’s a way to connect with our roots. The garden became something we both loved, bringing us closer together and creating a strong bond.
3 I watered the plants too much and forgot to take care of the soil. It was a learning experience. But I didn’t give up. Instead, I saw these moments as opportunities to learn. I read books, went to workshops, and asked experienced gardeners in my community for advice.
Yet, Mother Nature can be unpredictable. from unbearable heat to unexpected frosts. I lost some of my favorite plants due to extreme weathers. 4 I used drought-tolerant plants and protective coverings like shade cloths and frost blankets to help my strong plants grow.
Gardening is a lifelong journey of learning. 5 It’s like finding a hidden library, where each plant and plot offers something new to discover. The more time I spend in the garden, the more I realise that the soil is not just a place for plants to grow — it’s also ideal ground for my personal growth.

1.根据上文“I always admired my grandmother Jenny’ s gardening skills. But it wasn’t until a sunny afternoon in her backyard that I became interested in gardening myself. We were there to grow tomatoes. She handed me a tiny young tomato plant.(我一直很钦佩我祖母珍妮的园艺技术。
2.根据上文“Over time, the tiny seedling (幼苗) had grown into a large tomato plant with many juicy red tomatoes. Harvesting those tomatoes with my grandma was a joy I won’t forget. We spent hours in her kitchen making delicious homemade spaghetti sauce.(随着时间的推移,小小的幼苗长成了一株大番茄,长出了许多多汁的红色番茄。
3.根据后文“I watered the plants too much and forgot to take care of the soil. It was a learning experience. But I didn’t give up. Instead, I saw these moments as opportunities to learn. I read books, went to workshops, and asked experienced gardeners in my community for advice.(我给植物浇了太多的水,却忘了照料土壤。
4.根据上文“Yet, Mother Nature can be unpredictable. from unbearable heat to unexpected frosts. I lost some of my favorite plants due to extreme weathers.(然而,大自然母亲是不可预测的。
5.根据上文“Gardening is a lifelong journey of learning.(园艺是一生的学习之旅)”以及后文“It’s like finding a hidden library, where each plant and plot offers something new to discover.(这就像找到一个隐藏的图书馆,在那里,每一棵植物和每一片土地都提供了新的发现)”可知,上文提到园艺是一生的学习之旅,且比喻成图书馆,说明园艺需要不断学习、不断发现的特点,故F选项“它总是在变化,需要我们对新知识保持开放的心态”符合语境,故选F。
How to Be a Good Passenger
With masses of cars on the road, it is time to consider the traffic safety as a car passenger. It will be safer as long as you follow the following advice.
Be safe. 6 Do not wait for the driver to tell you to put it on, or refuse to put it on when asked to.
7 You can advise the driver on the route navigation (导航), but you don’t shout or advise on turns, which can cause the driver to panic or make a sudden turn, leading to a possible accident.
Do not be a rude backseat driver. When commenting on someone’s driving, offer a constructive and friendly suggestion. Do not, however, attack the driver about his driving, especially if he is inexperienced. 8
Do not distract (使分心) the driver. It is helpful for the driver if you want to tell him about a better and faster route. 9 However, talking for too long or too loudly or singing along to the radio music can distract the driver and possibly cause an accident.
Do not tolerate high speed. If the driver is going above the speed limit, do not immediately shout at him. 10 However, if you can see the driver speeding consciously and unsafely, you have the full right to advise the driver to slow down and drive more carefully, to make all the passengers feel safe.
A.Guide with respect and consideration.
B.Do up your seat belt the moment you get in the car.
C.If the driver needs to concentrate, turn the radio down.
D.Also, talking to the driver helps stop him feeling sleepy.
E.Prevent the driver from putting the passengers’ lives in danger.
F.He may not be aware of it and just need a reminder to slow down.
G.Let him take his time and drive in the way he feels most comfortable.
【答案】6.B 7.A 8.G 9.D 10.F
根据下文“Do not wait for the driver to tell you to put it on, or refuse to put it on when asked to.(不要等司机告诉你才系上它,或者在被要求系上的时候拒绝系上它。)”
根据下文“You can advise the driver on the route navigation (导航), but you don’t shout or advise on turns, which can cause the driver to panic or make a sudden turn, leading to a possible accident.(你可以给司机提供路线导航的建议,但不要大喊大叫或建议转弯,这可能会导致司机恐慌或突然转弯,从而可能引发事故。)” 故选A。
8.根据上文“Do not, however, attack the driver about his driving, especially if he is inexperienced.(然而,不要攻击司机的驾驶技术,尤其是如果他经验不足的话。)”
9.根据上文“It is helpful for the driver if you want to tell him about a better and faster route.(如果你想告诉司机一条更好更快的路线,这对司机是有帮助的。)”和下文“However, talking for too long or too loudly or singing along to the radio music can distract the driver and possibly cause an accident.(然而,说话时间过长或声音过大,或者跟着收音机里的音乐唱歌,都会分散司机的注意力,并可能导致事故。)”
10.根据上文“If the driver is going above the speed limit, do not immediately shout at him.(如果司机超速了,不要立即对他大喊大叫。)”和下文“However, if you can see the driver speeding consciously and unsafely, you have the full right to advise the driver to slow down and drive more carefully, to make all the passengers feel safe.(然而,如果你能看到司机有意识地、不安全地超速行驶,你完全有权建议司机减速,更加小心地驾驶,让所有乘客感到安全。)”

Find out what makes them wiser than you, then engage in useful dialog with them. The more time you spend with them, the more transfer of knowledge there will be. Absorbed in their knowledge as much as you can, you won’t regret it!

Things to Remember When Booking a Group Tour
When it comes to travelling abroad, many people opt to take part in a group tour to get the most out of their holiday. However, there are always a few details to deal with before you book your trip. 21 Thankfully, travel expert Dilvin Yasa has shared her tips for booking a group tour.
● 22 When planning a group tour, you need to put expense first. It’s important to “read the itinerary (行程) carefully before you book and add up all the exclusions until you arrive at your ‘real figure.’ ” Extra costs could include lunches, dinners, attractions and additional activities.
●Choose the right time. Selecting the right time of year for your group tour can make a big difference. Consider the weather conditions, peak travel seasons, and any public holidays or events that might affect your itinerary. 23
●Stay connected. In case of emergencies or changes in plans, it’s important to stay connected. Ensure everyone has the necessary contact information, including emergency contacts and travel insurance details. Having a portable charger or power bank can also be handy to keep devices powered up.
●Keep some cash on hand. 24 However, you should always be prepared for extra cash. Especially when travelling to more remote locations, or if you’re visiting smaller food stands or markets, you shouldn’t assume everywhere will take card payments. Yasa said, “Make sure you have local currency on you at all times and you’re good to go.”
25 With these tips in mind, you can ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
A.Book in advance.
B.Budget accordingly.
C.Here are some tips to consider.
D.Running into issues on a tour can break your vacation.
E.Most of your tour expenses have already been paid before you depart.
F.Avoiding peak seasons can often lead to lower costs and fewer crowds.
G.Planning a group tour requires careful consideration and organization.
21.上文“However, there are always a few details to deal with before you book your trip.(然而,在你预订旅行之前,总有一些细节需要处理。)”提到在预订团体游之前有一些需要注意的事项,下文“Thankfully, travel expert Dilvin Yasa has shared her tips for booking a group tour.(值得庆幸的是,旅游专家Dilvin Yasa分享了她预订团体游的建议。)”
22.下文“When planning a group tour, you need to put expense first.(在计划团体游时,你需要把费用放在第一位。)”
23.上文“Selecting the right time of year for your group tour can make a big difference. Consider the weather conditions, peak travel seasons, and any public holidays or events that might affect your itinerary.(为你的团体游选择一年中的合适时间会有很大的不同。
24.下文“However, you should always be prepared for extra cash. Especially when travelling to more remote locations, or if you’re visiting smaller food stands or markets, you shouldn’t assume everywhere will take card payments.(然而,你应该随时准备额外的现金。
25.下文“With these tips in mind, you can ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.(记住这些建议,你可以确保为所有参与者带来难忘且愉快的体验。)”

A.Gardening in cold weather will be rather tough.
B.Just the smell alone brought back so many memories.
C.However, my first attempts at gardening didn’t go very well.
D.Then she shared stories of her own grandmother doing the same.
E.And grandma’s gardening journey connects with me emotionally.
F.It’s always changing and requires us to stay open to new knowledge.
G.But I started planting with the climate in mind instead of getting upset.

(24-25高三上·山东日照·期末)In recent years, outdoor sports have become increasingly popular. According to the General Administration of Sport, over 400 million participations in outdoor activities have been recorded nationwide, with those born in the 1980s and 1990s leading the trend. 11 This has led some to associate outdoor sports with heightened risks.
Driven by the desire to share “brave explorer” moments online or a “come all the way up here” mindset, many beginners to outdoor adventure without proper preparation. In reality, outdoor activities can be dangerous without adequate skills and risk awareness. Beginners who ignore potential dangers may face hypothermia (失温) when hiking to high altitudes, get lost in forests, or be caught in thunderstorms. 12
So, how can we make outdoor sports safer 13 Before heading out, research the environment, climate, and seasonal conditions to choose a safe route and avoid risky or hard-to-access spots. Follow the principle of “remove layers when warm, add layers when cold and change clothes when wet”. This includes moisture-wicking (吸湿排汗的) inner layers, insulating (绝缘的) mid-layers and waterproof outer layers to stay warm and dry.
15 Remember to tell friends or family about your route and estimated return time so they can assist if needed. With proper preparation and safety measures, these adventures can be both exciting and rewarding.
A.Having the right equipment is equally important.
B.On the whole, outdoor sports should not be a risky game.
C.A well-thought-out plan and thorough preparation are vital.
D.All in all, outdoor sports can bring great fun and knowledge.
