1Annie,I’m a little nervous,安妮,我有点儿紧张。
意为“有点儿”,在句子中修饰nervous,相当于a bit,a little bit 或kind of.
A little与a bit :
二者修饰形容词、副词原级与比较级时,可以互换。二者与not 连用时 意思差别很大,not a little 意为“很,非常”.相当于very much ; not a bit 意为“一点儿也不,毫不”相当于not at all. 修饰不可数名词时a little +不可数名词=a bit of +不可数名词
It’s a little/a bit hot today.今天有点儿热。
He is a little/a bit taller than me.他比我高一点儿。
I’m not a little happy .我很快乐。
I’m not a bit happy. 我一点儿也不快乐‘

how to increase my reading speed.是“特殊疑问词+动词不定式”结构,在句子中作know的宾语。英语中,疑问代词what,who,which和疑问副词where,when,why,how 等后面可接动词不定式,这种结构在句子中可作主语、宾语、表语等成分。
We don’t know when to have a meeting .
The problem is where to go.
注意:“疑问词+动词不定式”结构作宾语时,其作用相当于宾语从句。当宾语从句的主语与主句主语相同时,可以与此结构互换

本句子动词不定式短语to practice English with作名词partner的后置宾语 ,从逻辑上讲partner作 with的宾语可理解为to practice English with a partner,其结构为“to do sth+介词+名词”。应注意的是此结构中的名词在句子中作谓语动词的宾语,而动词不定式成为该名词的后置定语时,句尾的介词不能省略。 Eg, I don’t have a house to live in.

1、在初中英语中,分别以-----ing,---ed 结尾的同义异形形容词有许多.eg , interesting, interested……
两者的区别为:以-ing结尾的形容词表示“令(使)人……的”,用来修饰物;而以-ed结尾的形容词则表示“(某人)……的”,用来修饰人。
