An (国际的) team of scientists announced it had taken the first picture of a black hole. Harverd University scientist Sheperd Doeleman has (领导) the research since it started. He said that the new picture (提供) strong evidence to support Albert Einstein's theories. It showed the black hole having a dark center, with a (明亮的) orange and yellow ring around. It is about 6.5 billion times greater than the (太阳的) system.
He said he felt pleased with the picture, because black holes are areas in space where gravity is so strong that nothing—not even (光) —can run away from them, which makes it really hard to take the picture. So researchers finally (创造) an Earth-sized "virtual telescope" to get the highest possible picture qulity.

Mars has recently welcomed a new guest, In Sight spacecraft (洞察号宇宙飞船). NASA (美国国家航空航天局) sent it there last November. It (land) on Mars on Nov 27. Climbing beyond your fears
Imagine looking up and seeing a high wall of rock going hundreds of meters into the air.
You take a deep breath and start climbing. You put your hands, feet and knees in small holes and slowly climb to the top. Your body gets tired as you go (high), but you keep climbing up. You try to forget about the fear (恐惧) until you succeed in (reach) the top.
While rock climbing really is a dangerous sport, most people use ropes to protect (them). The ropes will catch you if you fall. But others, like 31-year-old US climber Alex Honnold, make rock climbing crazier.
Honnold made a great (achieve) this month when he climbed one of the world's most famous cliffs (悬崖). E1 Capitan in California, US, is 914 meters high. Honnold climbed it ropes or even a helmet (头盔). If he slipped (踩滑) and fell, he would have died.
Not everyone that does rock climbing is as crazy as Honnold. Many do it safely, even on special indoor (wall). It is a great way to build strength and exercise your body. According to The Huffington Post, working out the best way to climb up a wall also (develop) your problem solving skills.
But Honnold says most climbers do it for the same reason. "I think sport makes you very powerful (有力量的) on the inside," he told The Huffington Post. "It makes you brave enough to deal with life's other (challenge) well."
