Failing for Great Inventions
How strange it is! Most inventors work hard for months or years (improve) their products. However, sometimes, great ideas come up with by accident.
One example is Popsicle (棒冰). It was "invented" by Frank Epperson, American boy.
Back in 1905, kids were making DIY drinks (active). One day, Epperson made a fruit-flavored soda drink. However, he left it overnight-with the stick still in the cup. It was a cold night. The next morning, Epperson went out of the house and (discover) that the drink had frozen (结冰的) around the stick. He pulled it out of the cup and smelled it—"Yummy!"

In hospital, usually I make the tea and speak to patients especially if I see the patients who are sitting there on (they) own or don't have visitors. I go to the Chapel every Wednesday afternoon and go to work in the hospital the second Monday in a month.
There are so many good things about volunteering—meeting a lot of new people and building a friendship with them I get as much as the patients do.
