汉堡包(火腿汉堡)(hamburger)起源于德国,是现代西式快餐中的主要食物。
寿司(すし,Sushi),日本传统美食之一,也是源自中国的一种古老食品。是用寿司醋调味饭团,加之鱼肉、海鲜搭配而成。其口味简单自然。
炸鱼薯条(Fish and chips)是英国的传统食物,几十年来,炸鱼薯条是英国盛行的外带食品之一。
披萨(Pizza),又译比萨饼、匹萨,是一种发源于意大利的食品,在全球颇受欢迎。

1.taste 的用法

(1)taste用作名词,意为“味道,滋味”。
The medicine has a bitter taste.

(2)taste用作实义动词,意为“有……味道,尝”。

2.medicine的用法
[温馨提示] medicine表示药物的种类时,用作可数名词。
(1)药,药物(尤指口服的药水),常作不可数名词,常用搭配:take medicine吃药。
Take this medicine three times a day.这种药一天吃三次。
(2)医学,不可数名词,形容词形式为medical,意为“医学的,
医疗的”。
Jim wants to study medicine when he grows up.
吉姆长大后想学医。
3.beat的用法
beat动词,意为“搅拌,搅打”,是及物动词,其后直接跟宾语,其过去式为beat。
Please beat these eggs.

4.until的用法
(1)until连词,用于肯定句中,意为“直到……为止”,主句谓语动词用延续性动词,表示动作一直持续到until表示的时间为止。
She read books until 12:00 last night.
昨天晚上她一直读书到12点。
(2)until用于否定句中,构成“not…until”,意为“直到……才”,主句谓语动词为非延续性动词,表示动作直到until所表示的时间才发生。此时until可用before代替。
She didn’t wake up until 8:00.她直到8点才醒。
The children won’t come home until it is dark.
孩子们直到天黑才回家。
