Dear Sally, I argued with my parents last night. I really want to go to a summer camp with my best friend Pingping. I think I can take good care of myself, but my parents think I am too young to do that. I feel terrible. What should I do Meimei
Dear Meimei, Try to understand your parents. They care about you and worry about your safety (安全). So why not talk to them to let them know that you have already grown up You could cook for them or do some housework to show that. Remember arguing is never a good way to show your idea. Sally
Dear Sally, I hung out with my friends the other day and I saw a little boy lying on the street. He wore old clothes and looked very hungry. My friends laughed at him. I wanted to buy him some food, but my friends stopped me. I felt so sorry. Now I think of what we did from time to time. What should I do Jack
Dear Jack, I understand you. Next time you are in the same situation, you should make your decision. It’s not necessary for you to listen to your friends and it’s not good to laugh at others.
Have you had a headache during a test Have you ever been so worried about something that you have a headache or even can't sleep at night 16 Pressure is what you feel when you are worried about something.
This worry in your mind can make your body feel bad. You may feel angry, sad or scared, all of which can give you a stomachache or headache.
17 Some kinds of pressure are good and others are bad. Good pressure might happen when you're called to answer questions in class or when you have to give a speech. This kind of pressure can help you to get things better done. 18
On the other hand, bad pressure can happen if the pressure lasts too long. You may not feel good if your parents are fighting, if a family member is sick, if you're having problems at school, or if anything else makes you unhappy every day. 19
20 Make sure you keep yourself in mind: Sleep, Exercise, Leisure, and Food. If you get enough sleep and eat properly, and if you exercise and leave time for fun, you'll probably fight pressure.
A.However, there are different kinds of pressure.
B.Can you tell a kind of pressure from another one
C.The best way to fight pressure is to have a balanced life.
D.That kind of pressure isn't going to help you, and it can really make you sick.
E.Since bad pressure is harmful to us, we'd better try to change it into good pressure.
F.If so, then you know what pressure is.
G.For example, you may do a better job on your test if the pressure pushes you to prepare better before the test.

答案 D A B B B B D C A A
答案 F A G D C
1.development
根据“the rapid… of China”可知,此空应填名词development“发展”,the development of“……
2. cut out
故填cut;out。
3.(c)ompare
根据后半句话“because everyone is different.” 同时,compare...with...“把……
4.(t)ypical
根据“Mapo Toufu is a kind of…Sichuan food and tastes really hot.”
5.(o)pinion
in one’s opinion“依某人来看”,故填(o)pinion。
6.D
on在……上;of属于……的;at在;with和。compare…with…
7.A
cut out删除;cut down砍倒。根据“I think this information isn’t useful.” 故选A。
8.B
I’m sure you’ll pass it.”
turn down拒绝;cut out删掉;take off起飞;make up弥补。
根据“more chances to build good relationships with people around you”可知,善良会给你提供更多的机会。

根据第一封信中“I really want to go to a summer camp with my best friend Pingping…but my parents think I am too young to do that.”
根据第二封信中Sally的建议“So why not talk to them to let them know that you have already grown up You could cook for them or do some housework to show that.”
根据第三封信中“I wanted to buy him some food, but my friends stopped me. I felt so sorry.”
根据第三封信中“I wanted to buy him some food, but my friends stopped me. I felt so sorry. Now I think of what we did from time to time.” 故选A。
故选A。
