Social networking safety
With the development of advanced science and technology, social networking apps brings us convenience along with risks. Thus, the problem of social networking apps has resulted in people's concern.
Last year, I carelessly posted my phone number on a social platform which stole my identity immediately. It was the identity theft that taught me never to give out my privacy. Accordingly, I’d like to share some useful tips about how to stay safe when using these apps. To begin with, protect your privacy. It is highly recommended that you’d better not post your personal information because someone might use your information to steal your identity. Plus, protect yourself. Don’t believe everything you read. It not only helps us have access to updating our databases , but also can be a source of false information. The best way to create a safer online communities is to be responsible. Finally, be polite. Rude comments can damage our peaceful environment, leading to cyberbullying and stirring up people’s negative emotions. Proper behaviour is a key to make our online community more harmonious .
Just as the saying puts it, “Better safe than sorry.” I would be more than delighted if you find these suggestions beneficial and workable.
