一、考点综述
投稿属于短文类写作，演讲稿、通知、宣传稿、新闻报道、倡议书、日记、约稿等都属于短文类写作。 投稿，通常会有特定的主题，写一篇相关话题的小短文即可，小短文以记叙文或者议论文为主。要求学生掌握相关的词汇、能够描述相关的事件，表达自己的感情或就相关话题表达自己的观点。
二、典例示范
【例1】
你校英文报Youth正在庆祝创刊十周年。请你写一篇短文投稿，内容包括：
1. 读报的经历；2. 喜爱的栏目；3. 期望和祝福。
注意：1. 写作词数应为100左右；
2. 请按如下格式写字答题卡的相应位置作答。

1. 写作步骤
对于“参赛”和“征文”的英语作文，常以记叙文为主。分为写人和叙事两种。写作步骤如下：
1.认真审题，提炼主题
认真分析标题或材料所提供的信息，确定主题。注意标题的含义很多，建议写自己最擅长和熟悉的人和事。
2.联系生活，确定要点
以主题为纲，进一步思考其内涵和外延，联系自己的学习、生活实际，确定写作的要点。高考英语书面表达试题凸显时代性，学生要多关注社会生活实际。
3.细化要点，布局谋篇
细化要点，使文章更丰满。可以采用三段式的写作模式来行文。最好拟个提纲，以明确主次，切忌心中无数、边想边写。
4.斟词酌句，组句成篇
选择适当的词语或结构将要点表达出来，选择适当的句型和适当的过渡语组句成文。尽量使用不同的单词、短语和语法结构，使表达多样化。
3. 段落结构
第一段：引出话题，点明主题。→主题呈现
第二段：叙述具体情况，列出层次一二三。→事件描述
第三段：总结（表达感谢，祝福与祝愿），升华意义。 →呼应主题

Extra-curricular Activities
Nowadays, extra-curricular activities are becoming increasingly popular in high schools, which greatly add color to our life.
A variety of extra-curricular activities, such as martial arts and Chinese calligraphy, are being held in our school, among which ping-pong program is my cup of tea. Through this activity, not only have I made some new friends but also I have become more confident and have improved my health.
I highly recommend that our school should organize more worthwhile activities for students and leave students more time for activities by giving them less homework.

I Like Reading
Reading is my favorite hobby. I can never stop the love for reading because books are like wise teachers as well as good friends in my life. As all we know, books are the source of knowledge. I benefit a great deal from reading.

But what interests me most is literary books, especially those written by famous writers. For one thing, they help to improve my writing skills and broaden my horizons. Sichuan Province is located in southwestern part of China. It enjoys many world-famous places of interest, such as Jiuzhaigou and Dujiangyan Irrigation project.
Jiuzhaigou National Park is a nature reserve in the north of Sichuan Province. What is the most impressive is its many multi-level waterfalls and colorful lakes. What’s more , walking in the nature reserve, you have a chance to see rare animals like giant pandas, golden monkeys. There are also many species of rare plants protected here. Another famous scenic spot is Dujiangyan Irrigation Project. It dates from over 2,000 years ago. However, it is still playing an important part in irrigation today.
I’m sure the visitors will be amazed by the beautiful scenery in Jiazhaigou as well as the construction Dujiangyan Irrigation Project.

The Place I like best is Yangliuqing Ancient Town, which is situated by the Grand Canal in Xiqing District, Tianjin.
I like the place not only because it is my hometown where I was born and brought up, but also because it has the famous New Year Pictures, representing the local culture and well-known both at home and abroad. Besides, the Shi Family Mansion, the largest of its kind in North China with its typically beautiful brick carvings(雕刻品), has attracted large numbers of tourists each year.
I am proud of being a citizen of Yangliuqing and I firmly believe that my hometown will become more impressive with the development of the Grand Canal Economy.
