Part Two – Reading
Write a summary of the passage.
It is necessary for teenagers to recognise their bad habits and make appropriate changes to avoid more serious consequences. To improve a bad habit, we must understand how it works by analyzing it with the “habit cycle”. We must first find out what the cue is. Then, change the old negative routine to something more positive. In this way, we will find a sense of reward. This is not easy and takes time, but this change will help us lead a happy and healthy life.

Homework
Dear editors,
My friends call me a night owl. I often stay up late and go to bed after 2. a.m. When I am actually in bed, I still can't help playing with my cellphone for one hour or more. In other words, I fall asleep later than 3 a.m. I feel dizzy from time to time. I find it hard to work effiently at daytime. Sleeping late even makes my skin look bad. I know it is an unhealthy habit but I don't know what to do.
Yours,
Eric
Read Eric’s letter on a magazine. Try to write back to give concrete suggestions based on the “habit cycle”.
