make it +形容词+for sb.+ to do sth.意为“使某人做某事成为……”,其中it为形式宾语,真正的宾语为后面的动词不定式。有类似用法的动词还有find,think等。

辨析excite,excited,exciting与excitement
单词 含义及用法
excite vt.意为“使激动;使兴奋”,后面可以直接接宾语。
excited adj.意为“激动的;兴奋的”,常用来修饰人。常用短语:①
be excited about对……感到激动/兴奋② be excited by 被……激
动到/兴奋到③become/get excited变得兴奋
exciting adj.意为“令人激动的;令人兴奋的”,常用来修饰物。
excitement n.意为“兴奋;激动”。





disabled
adj.意为“丧失能力的;有残疾的”。
able adj.能够的;有能力的。able的反义词为unable。
be able to do sth.能够做某事

n.意为“困难;难题”。
该词为可数名词,其复数形式为difficulties。但当difficulty 表示抽象意义上的

v.意为“理解;领会”。
其过去式和过去分词为understood。常用短语:make oneself understood意为“让
别人明白自己”。
imagine
v. 意为“想象;设想”。
常用于以下结构中:(1)imagine (sb.) doing sth.想象(某人)做某事。(2)
imagine oneself to be…想象某人自己成为……,其中oneself必须用与主语相对应
的反身代词表示“主语自己”。(3)接that或what引导的宾语从句。





change
(1)vt.意为“变化;改变”。change one's life 意为“改变某人的生活”。
(2)n.意为“变化;改变”。
【拓展】change作名词,还有“零钱”的意思,此时为不可数名词。

make a difference to…
意为“对……有影响”。
to是介词,其后可接名词、代词或v.-ing形式作宾语。difference 前还可用no,
any,some,much,big等修饰。
