broke是break的过去式
be in hospital是“住院”的意思,在hospital前面不使用冠词。如果要表达某人在医院工作要使用冠词,如:
Betty works in a hospital。贝蒂在医院工作。
3. I’m sorry to hear that“感到悲伤或遗憾”,用于听到别人说不 好事情时的反应,表示同情。

1. take和bring的用法区别
bring意为“带来,拿来”,是指某物或某人从别处带到说话者所在的地方来,动作由远及近。
take为“带去,拿走”之意,指人或物从说话人所在地带到别处去,动作由近及远。
