【设计理念】
本节课是鲁教版初中英语七年 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )级上册Unit 6 Section B Reading部分的内容。本单元主要围绕“free time activities(课余活动)”这一话题展开,内容贴近时代、贴近生活、贴近学生。本节阅读课对学生的课余时间活动进行调查总结,前面通过听说课,学生学习了课余时间的活动以及不同的生活方式的表达,这就为本节课阅读活动的开展做好了知识上的铺垫。本节课是一节阅读课,主要培养不同层次的学生运用阅读策略获取信息、依托自己或老师搭建的支架,完成阅读任务的能力。在完成阅读任务的过程中,通过支架搭建实现以读促写,提高学生读和写的双重能力。文章的题目为What Do No.5 High School Students Do in Their Free Time 主要针对学生的三项业余活动——exercise, use of the Internet以及watch TV的调查,呈现调查结果,并发表作者对健康放松方式的看法和建议。通过对不同课外活动的调查,引出“运动是一切生命的源泉(the motion is the source of all lives)”这一主题,并倡导大家共同行动起来,加强体育锻炼。本节课的课文贴近学生的实际生活,提高了学生的学习兴趣,引导学生建立健康合理的生活价值观,同时也是对本单元语言知识和语言功能的进一步巩固和升华,对学生的写作技能也有很好的促进作用。
【教法分析】
1. 在整个教学进程中,采用多媒体辅助教学,启发式教学,培养学生自主探究的能力。

【学法指导】
1.自主学习:本节课是阅读课,所以老师引领不同层次的学生选择不同的学习方式,通过不同阅读策略的使用自主完成阅读和写作任务。
2.合作学习:积极参与活动,相互交流,互帮互助,合作完成任务,搭建支架,培养团队合作精神。
【教学设计及意图】
一、三维目标
1. 知识与能力:
(1)能够正确理解单词percent,time等在语篇中的含义,关注词语的伙伴搭配关系。
(2)能通过文章的阅读,引导学生掌握调查报告 (a survey report) 的文体结构,并能够对同学的某一项课余活动进行调查并完成调查报告。
2. 过程与方法:
通过free talk、阅读与讨论、思考等方式,谈论第五中学学生的课余活动频率,并对自己的课余活动进行分析与反思。
3. 情感态度与价值观:
学会合理安排自己的业余生活,选择健康的课外活动方式,树立正确的生活观和价值观。

在理解课文的基础上,挖掘文本中体现作者思想观点的词汇和句子。
三、教学过程
