一、单元整体概览
本单元的教学主题谈论过去的去了什么地方。本单元要求学生通过学习,能够在情境中运用本单元重点句型询问并回答有关过去某个时间活动的安排;学生能够正确使用本单元单词、短语和句型谈论过去的活动以及过去去了什么地方。本单元,学生继续学习一般过去时态,通过学习能够理解一般过去时态的用法及动词过去式的规则变化和不规则变化,并运用一般过去时态叙述自己的假期。

三、学情分析
六年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,通过前五年的英语学习,他们掌握了基本的语音、词汇、语法知识,并具备了一定的听、说、读、写能力。在人教版英语六年级下册《Unit 3 Where did you go 》的教学之前,学生已经学习了关于日常活动、时间表达、一般过去时等基础知识,这些知识为本单元的学习奠定了坚实的基础。
词汇积累:学生已经掌握了一定数量的英语词汇,包括动词的过去式(如went,saw,ate等)、表示地点的名词(如park,zoo,museum等)以及一些常用的形容词和副词(如great,fun,delicious 等)。这些词汇为学生理解对话和短文提供了必要的语言支持。

本单元的 A 部分的 Let's talk 是 Amy 和John 讨论自己的五一劳动节的生活,John 告诉 Amy 自己去了新疆天山,在骑自行车的过程中不小心掉下来,脚受伤了,并且自己去了吐鲁番,吃到了各种各样的葡萄。A 部分的 Let's learn 主要学习五个表示过去的动词短语以及一个询问对方过去去了哪里的一般疑问句和它的回答。本单元的 B 部分的 Let's talk 是 Sarah Amy 和Wu Bin bin 讨论寒假生活,Amy 说她和家人寒假去了三亚,介绍了自己的出行方式以及三亚的美丽,B 部分的 Let's learn 主要学习四个表示过去行为的动词短语。
本单元继续学习一般过去时的特殊疑问句结构,不再是对话形式,而是以短文的形式、使用第三人称描述过去的行为,这对于学生逐步形成短文阅读能力非常重要。
本单元 A 部分介绍了新疆天山和吐鲁番,B 部分介绍了海南三亚的一些内容,引导学生关注如何从自己的视角介绍自己国家的文化景观,进一步增强祖国意识。
五、语篇分析

语篇一结合了A部分的对话和单词内容,通过Amy去John家探望受伤的John,展开学习。Amy发现John今天没来上课,打电话一问才知道他脚受伤了,于是来他家探望他,John跟Amy分享了他劳动节去新疆旅游的照片,他去了天山和吐鲁番,骑了马,还看到很多没有成熟的葡萄。学生通过语篇学习,了解新疆的人文地理,知道John五月一日和五月十二日的微博内容,掌握本课时核心词组和音形义,在与他人谈论自己周末或假期活动的过程中学会分享、关心他人。
语篇二是本单元的第二课时,是一节小学生日常对话课。教材通过吴斌斌和Amy在学校遇见Sarah,三人谈论寒假活动展开学习;学生在听力部分听取Sarah的寒假活动,她和父母去了杭州喜欢,还给吴斌斌和Amy买了礼物;接着在对话学习,Amy向Sarah和吴斌斌讲述了她寒假去海南的旅行,她和父母坐飞机去三亚度假,在那里拍了很多照片并游泳,三亚的气候宜人,沙滩非常漂亮。
语篇三是一节词汇课,围绕着活动一“Talk about our holiday trip”展开,了解吴斌斌的假期生活。教材语篇延续上一节课的情景进行,吴斌斌和Amy, Sarah聊自己的暑假生活,吴斌斌跟父母去了乡下的爷爷奶奶家,他在那里吃了新鲜的食物、游泳、拍照,还给朋友买了中国节作为礼物,同时还结交了朋友Andy,并讲述了他朋友的假期生活。
语篇四是一节故事课,故事内容简单、有趣。语篇通过Zoom去了太空旅游,回来后和Zip一起谈论他的太空旅游,他假期的时候搭乘飞船去了月球,并在那里看到了嫦娥、月兔还有一棵树,Zip问他有没有拍照片,Zoom却怎么也找不到他拍的照片,最后发觉原来是自己做了一个梦。
语篇五是一节阅读教学课,语篇基于子话题“A bad but also a good trip”而展开。教材内容通过回顾Wu Binbin’s colorful holiday引出话题内容,吴斌斌一家人来到乡下度假,遇见了一只小狗,他们非常喜欢它,于是给他取名字,叫Max。通过学习吴斌斌的日记,了解他的糟糕又美好的一天,4月23日,星期六早上,他们一家人骑自行车,Max坐在车头的车篮里,他们拍了照片,买了礼物并吃了美味的食物,但是到了下午吴斌斌的妈妈吃了些坏的水果,并感到不舒服,他们只能呆在酒店,为了让妈妈开心起来,吴斌斌和爸爸一起表演了一场有趣的节目。

本单元的两个重点语篇从不同视角介绍了新疆和海南,各语篇与单元主题之间,以及各语篇之间相互关联,构成一个子主题,即“中外名胜古迹的相关知识和游览经验”。各部分围绕单元主题展开,各课之间既相对独立,又相互关联。学习活动按照学习理解、应用实践和迁移创新三个层次逐步展开,循序渐进,螺旋上升。学生将零散的知识内容有意义地联系起来,构建基于主题的结构化知识,发展语言运用能力。
