As an educator, people often ask me how I know what makes each student tick.
I know when students are really interested because people have a 1 (tend) to lean towards things they are interested in. If a student has his head 2 (lower) to look at his watch, it implies he is bored and just 3 (count) the minutes for the class to end. Some students' favourite activity is daydreaming. They occupy 4 (they) by staring out of the window or up at the ceiling. They are certainly interested in something, 5 who knows what.
It is sometimes much 6 (hard) to distinguish when students are troubled. They may hide their faces in their hands like they are embarrassed or ashamed merely because they are afraid of 7 (call) on by the teacher. However, I can infer that there are deeper issues at work if a student does not bother to brush her hair and her eyes are red. I know I need to inquire and assess 8 is going on.
9 (ultimate), my duty is helping every student to learn. Their body language lets me know when to adjust class activities. Reacting to body language is 10 important component of being a teacher.
