1.It’s one’s turn to do sth. 是固定句型,意为轮到某人做某事了。 It’s your turn to read.
2.go on a trip=take a trip =travel 去旅行
3.goose n. 鹅;大雁,鹅肉 ,表示鹅肉时为不可数名词,表示鹅时为可数名词
goose ---geese,
类似的有 tooth—teeth , foot---feet.
3.cloud的用法
(1)cloud用作名词,既可用作可数名词也可用作不可数名词。
(2)形容词cloudy是由名词cloud加y变化而来的,类似的变化还有:
sun →sunny晴朗的; rain →_____有雨的;
snow →snowy有雪的; wind →______有风的;
fog→ foggy 有雾的。

4.wet的用法
(1)wet用作“湿的”讲时,常用的固定短语有:get wet 淋湿;all wet 全湿了;wet through湿透了。
◆Please come in, or you will get wet. 请进来,否则你会淋湿的。
◆We were all wet! 我们全湿了!
◆What did you do? You’re wet through.
(2)wet还可以用来描述天气,意为“有雨的;下雨的;多雨的”,相当于rainy。
你做什么了?你全身都湿透了。
◆Summer is a wet season here.
这儿夏天是一个多雨的季节。
5. all 指三者或三者以上的数目,位置在谓前系后(即动词之前,be动词之后)
We all like Chinese food. We are all Chinese.
6.Let’s give him a big hand .让我们给他大大的掌声。give sb sth =give sth to sb.把某物给某人,
常见的短语有 give back 归还 give out 分发 give up 放弃
