语篇分析 What（主要内容）：本课是以对话的形式呈现，讲述了 Amy 询问John 周末干了什么John回答骑自行车时不小心脚摔伤了。Amy 表示遗憾并继续追问，引出John 的回答：他在五一劳动节去了新疆天山骑了马。去了吐鲁番，见到了各种各样的葡萄。继而再次询问他们的游览体验，以此让学习者来了解世界重要国家的景点。Why（编写意图）：本篇课文通过 Amy 和 John 的对话，描述John 五一劳动节的活动，来让学生们了解中国著名的景点及文中小主人公们的游览体验。并且本单元主要学习一般过去时态，要求学生学会用动词的过去式：visit-visited，take-took 说明过去发生的事情。本课语篇内容涉及到的地理知识点虽与学生日常生活较远，但却为学生们了解我国文化奠定基础，具有现实意义和教育意义。How（语篇特点）：文本特征：该语篇为一篇回忆已经过去的劳动节在新疆旅行的对话。内容结构：语篇按照典型的对话风格进行提问，共分为三部分。第一部分：主要询问你们过去干了什么？第二部分：你们去了哪里？如何去的？第三部分：一个描述自己在外面旅行经历的小日记。语言特点：语篇主要回忆过去的活动，所以对话大量采用了一般过去式的时态描述。整体语篇语言表述较口语化，逻辑脉络清晰，符合学生总结、概括主要信息。
