Dolphins are friendly to men, and for thousands of years, there are many stories about dolphins and men. In the 19th century, in the sea near New Zealand, there was a dolphin. People on ships liked him very much and gave him a very good name, Jack. From 1871 to 1903, Jack met many ships and showed them the way. In 1903, a man on a ship with the name of The Penguin hurt Jack. Luckily the dolphin didn’t die, and after a long time he was well again. ☆Make daily “to-do” lists
Before your day is over, plan for tomorrow. 33. When you start a new day, you’ll already know what to do. It gives you a good start. After you finish each task, just cross it off the list. This way, you can clearly see your progress. Always keep this list with you. It can remind you of what to do next. This will help you carry out your plans better.
☆Break large tasks up into small ones
34. You might feel discouraged (沮丧的) even before you start. But in fact, every big project can be done easily if you do it step by step. First, divide your task into smaller parts. This can get rid of the fear of having to finish a huge project all at once. Just focus on one small part at a time, and you’ll find the task is not so hard.
35.
If there are a lot of things in your workplace that take your attention away, you need to make some changes. Maybe you should take your phone or TV out of your workplace. If people often come to chat with you, you may need to move to another place. A quiet and distraction-free environment can help you focus on your work and work more efficiently.
☆Follow the five - minute rule
The most difficult thing about any task is starting it. 36. But this often makes them feel more stressed. One way to solve this problem is to schedule (安排) a time daily to work on your big project. Work on it for only five minutes. Then decide whether or not to continue. Once you start, you may find that you may be able to keep going.
