Jinan, 8 May, Saturday. My classmates and I took part in an activity as volunteers to help protect cultural relics of Spring City.
Jinan is a meeting point for QiLu culture.It is famous for its springs, which attracts tourists from all over the country. There are many old buildings in Daming Lake Park and Qushuiting Street, which date back to ancient times.
One of my classmates took more than 200 photos of many old buildings, including Beiji Temple and Tiegong Temple. I, together with two classmates, interviewed an old man,who had lived in the old street for 50 years.We hope to promote people's interest in Jinan's ancient history, culture and traditions.“It helps us learn more about Jinan.”said our team leader.
Through our efforts, Jinan will surely take on a new look.
