The water level of the Dead Sea is going down, because people keep taking too much water from the rivers that flow into it. The rainforest is disappearing, because people keep cutting down trees for wood and for farming. The number of glaciers at the Glacier National Park becomes smaller and smaller, because of climate change.

No, they aren’t. The passage uses personification to show the serious situation.
It makes me feel as if the natural wonders are talking to me. I feel sad for them and want to help them.

1. In Frozen, the world is cold and full of ice and snow. In Waterworld, the world is covered in water, with no land. The writer mentions the two films to show the serious problem of climate change.

I, the Amazon River, am in troble. I am a big river, full of life. In fact, I’m one of the largest rivers in the world. I run through the Amazon Rainforest. I give water to it. But now, I am facing problems like pollution and climate change. I’m getting dirtier and the amazing life around me is dying out. It will change the balance in nature and harm all the life, including you, humans. Hear my cries , and help me now! You should stop throwing rubbish in the water and help take care of the forest.
