定义:在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句。宾语从句主要有三种。
三种形式三要素:(1)连接词
宾语从句的连接词:
连词that起连接作用, 不作句子成分, 无词义, 在口语中常被省略。
He knew (that) he should work hard.
2. 连词 whether “是否”, 常与or not 连用, 不做句子成分, 不能省略, 在口语中多用 if。
Tom don’t know if / whether his grandpa
liked the present.
He asked me whether or not I was coming.
一般情况下, if 和whether可以互换, 但
以下情况只能用whether
① 在不定式前:
Whether to go there or not hasn’t been
decided.
② 在介词前:
It depends on whether it is going to rain.
③ 与or not连用:
They are talking about whether to go
